Men's Elston 608 Slim Fit Chino 3.4 5 17 17
Perfect pair of slim chinos These Elston 608 slim fit chinos are awesome! They are exactly what I was looking for. They are very well made and of a superior quality for the price point. The material is soft but also sturdy. They are a true slim fit, with a low rise and tapered legs. They fit me perfectly, as I have slim legs with average to small thighs and a small butt. (To address some of the other reviews, these pants probably don't fit you because you are not slim. If you have large athletic thighs you might want to order the straight fit.) I love these pants and am looking forward to ordering another pair in a different color! May 3, 2013
Very slim fit ? sorrel color is bright So these pants are very slim fitting ? even a touch more than J.Crew's 484 fit. Nice weight to the chinos, not flimsy...almost more like Docker's Alpha Slim feeling to the weight. I bought the 33x30 ? Actual waist measured is 17" across, thigh is 12" (at crotch) and leg opening is 7". Not for the overly muscular. Sorrel color is a bit brighter and bolder, almost like an orangey rustic bright brown. March 30, 2013
way too slim... As many reivewier said, this pant is way too slim, should have called it skinny. The cut from last season was better, except the weird crotch... January 16, 2013
Great Value It's nice to find a reasonably priced pair of chinos with an actual slim fit. These were exactly what I was hoping for, and at a good price. January 6, 2013
Taking the slim style too far I have 4 pairs of the Vintage slim chinos from LE Canvas and I have worn them out. I ordered these to replace them, however I think LE has gone too far with the slim style. The rise is way too low and the leg opening is skinny not slim. Can't recommend them, I sent them back. Awful fabric quality I was excited about these pants - I got the blue, which fit and felt great. They had a nice weight to them. However, after the first wash there were faded streaks all over them causing a white marbling effect, making them look awful. On top of that, they were so stiff that they became basically unwearable. I got one wear out of them before the first wash. The dye used must be really cheap. December 19, 2012
Too slim Nice color (Sorrel), good fabric weight. Fit is too small though. Need to order up a waist size. December 13, 2012
Too tight and too low I really liked the Lands' End Canvas Heritage Slim Fit Chinos that came out 2 years ago -- the ones I own are actually my best fitting pants. I ordered the Elston Slim Fits hoping they would be similar, but the new cut is terrible for me. (I'm 6'0 and 175 pounds with muscular thighs and calves). I ordered the 30x30 pants, sames as my old chinos. The Elstons have been cut so skinny they are like Levis 510 or 511s. I could barely pull them over my thighs. The waist was also very tight, so the measurements have changed from before. The worst part was the super low rise, which seems to have dropped a full 2 inches from my Heritage Chinos. I can tell from all these "mis-fits" that going up a size or ordering the regular fit chinos won't work for me -- the Elstons have been designed for someone with a different body than mine. It's a shame because I like the colors and materials. LE, if you're listening, offer the Heritage Chino again. The ultra low rise on the Elstons and Comers seems to be a problem in many of the reviews I see. December 10, 2012
What size do I wear? 3 star fit 5 star quality. Loved the quality and feel of these pants but they were small in the waist and super hipster skinny. The color was way off too but I actually liked the more orange color. I have ordered 3 pair of pants from LE in the past 6 months and none of them fit the same. I apparently wear a size somewhere between 32 to 35. I called to get a pair in the next size up but they were sold out. Had to send back the other chinos from the same order as well. Ordering from LE has become quite a size crapshoot, but when it fits I love their stuff. December 8, 2012
Great pants! For what I paid, these are the best pair of pants ever. I have the blue and sorrel, and I like them both. Fits slim, but they work well since I'm a runner and have slim, athletic legs. November 24, 2012
