Great Shoes Very narrow need to be wider fit available December 22, 2012
Excellent Very good overall December 20, 2012
Not as good as earlier version. While this is not a really bad product it is not done as well as in the past in both materials and construction. The fit does not feel quite right and I miss the (small) arch support. Changes were made to keep the cost the same and it shows. October 23, 2012
Good quality - Excellent value Being partial to driving shoes, I look for fit and comfort (leather lining) and this product is an above average value. October 13, 2012
Looks brilliant It really looks great. September 16, 2012
nowhere near your standards Your original driving moc, with the bottom this one has, was oneof the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn; of course they wore out fast at the toe when used for walking, but that was to be expected. Then you switched to one with a different sole pattern and inners. They didnt work as well for me -- different at the arch -- but were still moccasins, with soft (maybe even glove) leather that wrapped and conformed itself to the foot. I'd bought *four* pairs, two black two brown, because I'd liked the first ones so much and knew they wouldn't last; might not've done that if I'd've known about the changed bottom and support. You really ought to show picture of the bottom/sole. Anyway, tried another when the last brown wore thru the toe. When it arrived I was excited to see the original sole pattern. But on wearing them -- the worst moccasins, driving or otherwise, I've ever had. The leather seems stiff and thick, no different from the leather of your Topsider-style.. That means it *doesn't* wrap, and rubs feet and toes raw, and and and (one doesn't do that much walking in boat shoes, so there it's OK.). That is, whatever the shape, it *isn't* a moccasin. Don't know how I can find out whether you return to a softer leather in the future, but unless I can and you do, no more. June 9, 2012
I bought a pair for my husband a year ago. They are already falling apart. This is the second pair my husband has owned. The first pair which I bought for him more than 10 years ago were made in Portugal. They lasted forever. They were wonderful. I bought this pair for him about 1 year ago, and they are already falling apart. These were made in China -- cheaper materials, poor construction. Lands End -- shame on you for charging so much for such poor quality! March 6, 2012
terrible These are a 100 dollar pair of driving shoes and they are worth about 10. I have seen better shoes at a thrift store. I thought i would give them a shot since i like their shirts, but I have had since christmas 2011 and it looks like i have had them for 10 years. If the shoe is actually leather, it is the worst leather i have ever seen. They look extremely worn after less than 2 months. You can find cole haans on sale for 100 dollars and they are quality. Lands end is making a fortune selling these shoes because there is no way they paid more than 10 dollars for these pieces of garbage. Don't waste your money. February 12, 2012
Cheap - not the quality I've come to expect from LE I like LE clothes and wear them regularly. I decided to give these mocs a try after looking at several brands. I ordered black last week and they came today - and what a disappointment. They fit ok, no issues there but the quality is very cheap. Sewing and construction are ok, the "leather" is the issue. They look and feel more like cardboard and one shoe had a small gouge in the leather along the outside rigth out of the box. I wore them around my home on carpet for a few minutes to get a feel for them and noticed two more issues. First there is some type of adhesive somewhere in the layers of the sole that made a squeaking sound (sounded like masking tape being pulled off of something) when I was walking around and after about 15 minutes, the "leather" on the right show started to crack and flake off in small pieces on the instep about where the shoe bends when you walk. Needless to say these are going back to LE and I'll be purchasing one of the other brands I was looking at, and should have purchased in the first place. There are alot of good reviews of these shoes, maybe I got a defect, but that would be hard to believe considering how poorly these were made. December 23, 2011
