Great for shorts!
The cotton webbing forming the bulk of the belt is just right, heavy fabric that should wear well. The ends have reduced width and are made from leather. They look great with shorts.

Very poor sizing!
I purchased this belt for my husband. I ordered another belt for him at the same time. Both were a 36. When they arrived, he tried the other belt on first and it fit. Then he tried this belt on and found it to be much shorter. He compared it to a leather belt of the same size and it also was two inches shorter. It was marked as a 36. He called customer service and they sent a larger size 38 as a replacement. It fit but was still shorter than the other 36 ordered with this belt.

very, very small
I tried without success to wear the belt but it was too short to buckle. It was marked on the belt as a 36 waist. I measured it against a 36 waist leather braided belt I had previously purchased from lands' end and the new belt was 4 inches shorter in length.

Who sized these belts??!!
Ordered a size 32 belt and got one that even a size 28 waist would find to be too small ! This is a terrible buy !

Nice quality and fits well through belt loops. Great casual belt.
My husband is very pleased with the belt. I am going to purchase another one in a different color.

Liked the belt, especially the leather tab and buckle. Prefer more colors
Belt was fine and the leather tab/buckle was great. I would like to see more of these in different colors and styles. Would especially like to see black with a red or beige stripe or blue with beige; perhaps blue with green or dark green with beige. I have plain black, blue with red and now just plain beige. Think that these belts look best with that single stripe - simple and clean.

Quality, Looks Great, Made in the USA!
Lands' End has actually carried this belt for years?but it hasn't appeared in their regular catalogue since mid 2009. Far superior to the Chinese made belts. It has a substantial cotton strap, quality leather tabs, a heavy, solid brass buckle and is made in the USA with an excellent price! This is the best traditional chino belt I have. Period. The sizing is the standard next size up from your pants size (if you wear a 36 pants size, order a 38 in this belt) and it will buckle in the middle/third hole. I have three of these belts, simply because I feared LE would discontinue carrying this item. I only wish (and have asked for several times) that this belt would come in more colours, in addition to the khaki?possibly: true navy, expedition green and maybe even rich red or burgundy. Trust me, if you like the time-honoured traditional look, you will really like this belt!
