Doesn't fit like the old parka or the regular Squall jacket
Price sure was right but the fit wasn't. Sleeves feel too tight and the parka wasn't as roomy in the chest or shoulders as it used to be. Also when I raised my arms, the sleeves came up to my forearms. These parkas used to be cut comfortably large with room for a sweater underneath. Not anymore, now the fit is too constricted. I returned mine to Sears this morning and tried on other Squall parkas in different colors. They all fit the same way, the arms seemed restrictive even in the XL. Same thing for the hooded Squall jacket. What's weird is that the regular Squall fits exactly the same way as it always does. The L fit well and the XL was huge. Guess I'll have to stick with the regular Squall jacket but I really needed a parka.

Very warm but comes too big
I had previously owned a Lands End Parka and had it for years living in an urban city. When it was time to get a new one I bought this style on sale. Much bigger than expected in my typical size, very warm. Draw strings in middle of jacket don't hug enough around the waist. Bulky more like an overcoat.

Warm and tough. But it isn't flattering.
This parka is great for winter! I It's warm in the inside, and seems very durable. Love the length and that it has many pockets. My biggest problem with it is that the upper arm sleeves look big that it makes it unflattering. Also around the armpits. I guess I like my clothes kind of slim. It still seems like a very good practical parka.
