The short's color is true to the color presented. The fit is as expected.
These shorts wash up well; they need no ironing. My husband bought two pair and went back for more.

Nice, dressy shorts, just as advertised. Waist fits well, hem is just above my knee.
These truly are just a cut-down version of the Lands' End chino pants, with the same feel and color. They are dressy enough to wear out to dinner on a summer night, but comfortable enough to golf in. My only quibble is that they are a little stiff, but that will probably fade with a few washings. I like these and am glad I ordered two pair.

not no-iron
These are not no-iron shorts unless your a slob. The shorts fit great but after washing and drying I had to iron and their were a lot of loose strings that had to be cut off.

Great Shorts
This is the second pair that I have ordered. Fit is spot on and the material is terrific. The first pair was bought last year as "Legacy shorts", but the ones I just bought are the same and are of the same excellent quality. I would recommend them to anyone.

No 30/31 waist in these pants?
I am slender person and tried these at 32 inches in stores...they are so big! Not only in waist but in thighs too. These are clearly made for generously sized people. Come on LE, why not make them in smaller sizes? First the small shirts lost the sleeve length, now this! I hate to iron the shorts which wrinkle and am still looking for wrinkle free shorts!

Very classic "dress" shorts
Fit as expected, excellent quality, wears with "Summer Santa" shirts, but he would also like Cargo shorts available in black - he likes the pockets!!

Great Product, would recommend.
Nice fit, good quality materials and look good. Wash up well too, with minimum wrinkles. Remember NOT to use fabric softener, liquid or toss in sheets. Almost missed this detail on the washing instructions.
The only improvement I would suggest is deeper front pockets. Living in South FL, I wear shorts year round, and find the weight of the shorts is just right for this area and the heat we experience. I would definitely buy more shorts when I need them. Great value for price.

Excellent shorts - great fit, good quality.
We're pretty much buying all my husband's pants and shorts from Lands End these days -- the fit is great, these easy-care fabrics look great and are easy to care for, and they hold up well to lots of wear.
We are very happy to have these shorts in just the right size -- my husband wears a 35 waist, and not everything comes in that.

These are my husband's favorite shorts
My husband had several pairs of these same shorts, bought a few years ago. I bought a pair this year, same size and catalog number, but they were way too small. They must be cut smaller now. I returned them with no problems, and re-ordered two sizes larger, and they're perfect. They wash well and don't wrinkle, so they always look good.
