Great for tall guys - 6'5 son loves them My son is all legs and these shorts are great as they come to the top of his knee - 6" inseam looks like he is wearing "hot pants" & he likes the option of the longer length. Great for those with 33" inseam! Know if I could just get 33 with a >36" inseam for pants..... June 1, 2013
Good, But Inconsistent Fit Appear to be well-made, color is true to website photo, too early to comment on durability. Comfortable - except: I bought 2 pairs, same size different colors. one fitted well, the other is too small and is being returned. Que? May 13, 2013
Great Fit My boys are very happy with the colors and inseam and general fit. I like the heft of the fabric. Some other colors might have been nice too. Fit consistent with other LE clothes, which tend to run somewhat large. May 11, 2013
Too dressy/formal I ordered these for my son because of the 11 inch inseam, which is hard to find, though even longer would be better. He decided to return them as not appropriate for a college student. "Like dress pants except shorts." He really was baffled as to who these would be suitable for. I guess they fit OK. May 11, 2013
excellent quality I got these shorts for my husband and they have exceeded my expectations. My husband is tall with very long legs so this length is perfect for him. He has a 36" inseam and these shorts hit him just above the knee for a dressier look. I really like the options at LE for short length - it helps for the tall guys. The fabric is a substantial weight cotton - these wouldn't be the coolest shorts - but that makes them hang nicely and they will last for years. We don't live in a really warm climate so the weight is great for us. They fit my husband perfectly and I would say they are true to size. May 11, 2013
Fits well; picky teenager likes! Washes and holds up well. Great quality- fits well April 29, 2013
NO STONE COLOR!!! BOO!!! For some reason, Lands End has discontinued the stone color in these shorts. This is very upsetting. These were my boys go to shorts until that happened. Why on earth would you discontinue a classic color like that? You still make the chinos in that color! The stone color is the standard for preppy college boys. We have tried other shorts, but they don't measure up (literally - one of my boys is 6'4" and needs the 11" inseam)! Please bring these back in the stone color! Otherwise, this is a quality short for men who are tall or like their shorts a bit longer. April 4, 2013
