Great bag but could use a few improvements
This is a great bag - very sturdy fabric and handles and a good size to use as a travel bag. It fits upright under an airplane seat. However, I do agree with some complaints of previous reviewers. Because there are no zippered (or velcroed) pockets for small items, I had to watch that nothing slipped out when the bag tipped over. It would help to have a few small pockets inside to help with organization. The snap closure on one of the 2 large inside pockets did keep my iPad secure. I was surprised that after 2 weeks of using this bag on a trip, including going thru airports and to the pool, the bag still looked clean, even on the bottom.

Pretty but so so handles
Nice large bag with sturdy leather handles, but too large for me for every day use, great if you need a durable large bag. It has two large inside pockets, one has a snap, the other doesn't, no cell phone pocket, but these work. The handles are made of three pieces of leather sewn together, one piece on top and two on the bottom, the ones on the bottom are sewn right where the handles hit your shoulder, so may be unconfortable for some. I would have kept it if wasn't for the size. A handheld smaller version with one piece leather handles would be fantastic.

Its adorable. I ordered it for a diaper bag and want one for myself.
Like I said we are going to use this for our daughter's diaper bag. I read the reviews and was a little apprehensive but ordered it anyway. I have a canvas tote my Aunt gave me when I was 4 and it is still awesome!!! The straps are a little stiff but that is to be expected with leather or leather type material but overall I am extremely pleased with our purchase. The goal is for it to be her spend the night bag when the diaper bag is no longer needed and I see no reason for that not to happen.

Great colors, Needs compartments
I love the colors and sturdiness of this tote. It's big enough to carry tablet, legal pad, etc. Wish it had smaller compartments for pens, etc. and a zipper compartment for little items like lipstick, tissues, etc.

Doesn't stand up to previous totes ordered.
Straps are too stiff, inside dividers are not sewn into compartments like previous versions, & there is no longer an outside pocket.

LOVE this bag!!!
I am VERY happy with my new Lands End Tote Bag!! I purchased the Dawn Multi Stripe and the colors are very nice together. This bag is very sturdy and Im sure it will last for many years. The leather strap was kind of stiff at first but I think it will losen up. I wish it had just a little longer handle to use over the shoulder. One more note, the description says 4 inside pockets. I am only finding 3. There is a slotted compartment on each side which gives you 2 plus the open center compartment. Im kind of watching to see if other people also have just 3 compartments. Maybe they forgot to sew one in mine. Anyway, its a very nice bag! I would buy it again!!
