Lovely color
I ordered the Dusty Apricot and it's quite a looker. I've ordered Lands' End basic towels in past years and they have held up extraordinarily well. While I agree that these towels dry quickly after use, I find that I don't feel dry after using them. I've washed them three times and that lofty-fluffy feel is beginning to dissipate, so perhaps they'll soon dry ME better.

Too Fuzzy
Might be just personal preference - If you're looking for an enormous bath towel, both in area and thickness, you'll like these. Really, they're huge - a couple of them is a full laundry load. But I don't like the texture, which is sort of odd and fluffy and insubstantial - they don't seem to dry well, in spite of that huge amount of cotton, because the surface is so airy - it's like trying to dry off with styrofoam or something. Thought it might be ok after washing - and maybe it eventually WILL improve, but after one washing it didn't. I won't get these again.

Very soft bath towels.
The quality is great-very soft. I gave them as a Christmas gift and would order them for myself.

Love these towels!
Great towels! Size is perfect for the bath towels. Didn't experience any problems with lint or "shedding" after the first washing. Some towels have to be washed a few times before they absorb well; these were great after just the first wash. I will buy more!

Great towels, but color off
I love these towels, have had several in past. I recently ordered 1 for each of my children with their names embroidered (no more fighting over towels). I ordered a different color for each child and the Shale Blue towel is not blue - it's a very light green. Not a big deal for me (although that daughter would have preferred blue), but if you are trying to match a bathroom decor, you might not get what you're expecting.

An excellent towel: soft, absorbent but not thick and heavy
These are my favorite towels of all the towels here. I have several for me......my husband meanwhile my husband prefers the Supima towels which are MUCH heavier, thicker and more absorbent.
The main difference is: I can rehang the towel I've used in the shower on the towel rack and it'll be dry by the time I am ready to shower again. My husband's supima towels are useable ONCE and then must go into the towel hamper.
But we each have our individual preferences, and are happy with our "own" towels!

Funny Looking Red
Nice towels, but beware- the red coloring is what I would call a coral red, not cardinal red at all.

Nice towel, but Cardinal Red is a terrible color
The washcloths are fine, thick, nice. But Holy Cow, the color "Cardinal Red" is a TERRIBLE color. It's like a grungy peachy orange. Avoid at all costs is you are looking for a REAL red. The bad color cost this rating a star.

Luxe Essential is a great thick-thirsty, solid-weight, well made wash cloth. Highly recommend to all.

My New Favorite Towel
I decided to order two bath towels just to see how they compare to the supima bath towel. This is my new favorite towel! In my opinion it is loftier and softer than the supima towel. This is the towel I constantly reach for, so I will be ordering more.
