But in addition to their softness, you’ll appreciate the way these thirsty loops pull moisture away from your skin and soak up the drips. Finished with two rows of dobby weave at each end of towels; washcloths get one row. Bath towel weighs a substantial 600 grams per square meter. 100% cotton. Machine wash. Imported.

Water Absorbable
These are the nicest towels I've had in many years. The material is very water absorbent and when you step out of the shower to towel off you are encased in a wonderfully soft and luxurious towel. These towels don't leave you rubbing and rubbing to get dry. I highly recommend these towels to anyone who is looking for a 100% cotton alternative to the mediocre mess that can be bought at the --Mart stores. The price is also a plus. I bought the original two sets on sale and am going to order two more sets again on sale. I've given these for gifts as well and the newly weds who received them were very happy. I also have a very happy hubby who enjoys these towels so much. He's newly retired from 30 years of active duty service in the US Navy and raves every shower he takes that he's loving not having the "sand paper towels" he had on the ship to dry off with anymore! Suggest you wash them 2-3 times when you get them to reduce the amount of lint you will get originally from these towels. Once you've washed them a couple of times, you have no further worries.

Why no tubmats to match the lovely colours?
These towels are lovely and I would love to have some in the colours instead of white which I have ordered in the past. However, you don't have tub mats to match any of the colours.

Thick, fluffy towel, generously sized.
These towels are wonderfully thick and absorbant, yet lightweight. They are generously sized too. I loved the shale blue color until I washed it in hot water and color-safe bleach as I do with all my towels..The beautiful blue turned a light green with yellow patches! The towels still perform perfectly; I will just keep them in the closet as opposed to hanging them on display in the bathroom. I just ordered another set in natural color. I am hoping this color won't have the same problem. These really are the best drying-off towels I've purchesed anywhere.

Great Towel!
I was concerned about biuying this towel because of the reviews that stated it wasn't absobent. Well I washed them with very little detergent on warm with vinegar in the first rinse then a clear rinse. They came out soooo fluffy. I then did a test by dropping water on them and it disappeared. Then I washed my hands then dried them with one of the washcloths, it soaked the water right up. I was tested the color against one of the unwashed towels, and there was no visible change in color. I have had a terrible time finding a decent towel that didnt shed like crazy forever that was absorbent and fluffy...finally I found them. The next time these go on sale I'm going to buy a few more and splurge on the monograming.

Beware the Lint! :(
These towels are very soft, thick, fluffy, and absorbent, but despite multiple washings they continue to leave lint on my skin and all over the bathroom. This is very disappointing and unacceptable, and for that reason I cannot recommend these towels.

Not absorbant
color was perfect (natural) but these towels are not absorbant, washed and dried as instructed, no fabric softener, disappointed, and would not recommend or order another set. I love Lands End but they dropped the ball on this one.

Made in China. Despite numerous washings, puts a coating of lint all over the rest of the laundry.

Absolute best towels ever !!
I have had Lands End Supima towels in the past and they are great towels & come in beautiful colors. I ordered a set of those towels recently after wasting so much money trying towels from other places (Penney's,Bed, Bath & Beyond, etc) & I ordered one in the Luxe Essential to try them after seeing the reviews. I have to say I ordered 2 more sets of the Luxe (wish they came in as many colors as the Supima). The Luxe towels are the absolute best I have ever used. Hardly any lint at all even at first & so very soft & fluffy. Oh my gosh it's like being wrapped in a wonderful cloud. They are very absorbent & dry quickly. I shower at night & by the next morning they are dry already. Lands End's towels have always had larger than standard towels & I have always appreciated that tremendously. And now I am completely spoiled by the Luxe. Thanks for the great quality & reasonable price. You've done it yet again Lands End !

I came back and bought more.
Quality was very nice. I gave three sets for Christmas presents. After I washed them and handled them, I came back and purchased a set for myself.
