Nice Style with Surprise Features
My 7 year old daughter loved the style of this jacket when I ordered it online and loves it even more in person (we ordered green/blue). The green is a really pretty bright green; the style relatively fashion-forward for Lands End, and the features terrific. Maybe I wasn't paying attention to the small print so I didn't notice that there are sewn in gloves (covers hands but not fingers) to keep the wind from travelling up her sleeve and lots of little zippered pockets for "secret storage" which she adores. Very happy with this purchase, but I would agree with another reviewer that a reflective strip would be helpful on the back for walking at night.

Cute but not warm enough for skiing
The colors and style of this are really cute, but I did not even show it to my 5-year-old, because I knew she'd want to keep it -- and I could tell just by looking at it that it would not be warm enough for skiing here in the Colorado Rockies. Taking this one back and have ordered a Squall parka instead -- we've had the Squalls for years and have never been disappointed. Thought we would try something new, but we will be going back to tried-and-true instead.

My daughter loves this bright and fun coat.
We were struggling to find a winter coat for my 8 year old daughter that fit and was a reasonable price for a growing kid. This coat fit the bill. Our girl LOVES the colour (lime and purple). We got the lime green flurry boots to match which are terrific, too. A couple of reviews have expressed concern about warmth. Well, we live 2 hours north of Toronto, Ontario, and for good old fashioned winter playtime, it is warm enough. It would be thin for snowmobiling or, perhaps, skiing in the cold. But she can happily spend 2 hours outside in -15celcius with no complaints. She loves the little hand warmers as well. I'd buy another.

A huge hit with my picky 6-year old!
This jacket has been super, my daughter says it is just as warm as her down ski jacket, and she loves the color (we got the blue/green combo). Size is spot-on - she normally wears 7s or 8s in tops and the 7/8 fits with room to grow next year. Got it on clearance - great deal! Thinking of getting one for my 2 year old to wear next year.

Love this coat!
I purchased this for my ten year old daughter. The coat runs a bit small. She is an average size ten year old and is wearing the size 12. Nice thin, not bulky coat, but it is still very warm. Fun vibrant colors to choose from. Easy to fold up and pack if need be. The glove holder feature is great for a kid, keeps track of those gloves and adds a bit more warmth. Excellent coat!

Great Ski Jacket
I bought this jacket for my seven year old daughter and my friend bought it for hers. Both children are of an average height, but rather slim. We got the jackets in S and they fit fine. They went skiing in Austria for 3 days, one day very cold, two days heavy rain. The jackets kept them warm the first day - I did put a fleece jacket under it, though - and completely dry on the other two. The bright colours are pretty and easily visible. The girls love them and we are very happy with the quality and the prize.

Functional, comfortable and beautiful!
Hands down! Its my best purchase from LE. Lightweight, easy to pack and incredibly comfortable and warm, colors are bright and overall quality of fabric and stitching is great. Bought it in blue for my teenage daughter (5'4" around 95#, size XL). Fit true to size chart, still a little room to grow. She was so happy to find it under the Xmass tree!

Nice looking, but not warm
This is more of a rain jacket than a ski jacket. It is thin with the thickness of a wind breaker. I am doubtful it will keep a kid warm on the slopes, unless it is a warm day. The jacket is a nice style, with nice colors though.

the fit is great but will not be keeping it.
This jacket fits well and the colors are beautiful but the zipper on the right chest area is a different color and it spoils the look of the jacket. We will unfortunately be returning it because of this.
