Great coat for cold winters I bought this coat in Ivory for my 8 year old granddaughter. It looks wonderful on her. She is hard to buy coats for as she is very small boned and most ski jackets are way to big in the shoulders and waist but this is tailored very well yet still long enough in the arms. It is also a great length and will keep her back and behind warm. When I first received it I took it apart to see the different ways it could be worn and had some difficulty getting all of the zippers to fit back into place. She will probably end up wearing it all together most of the time. August 1, 2012
Phenomenal Jacket--excellent deal b/c so many options of how to wear it!! The fit is amazing. I bought this in pink for my daughter who was 2.5 years old in fall 2011. I tell all my friends how amazing this jacket is. I bought it a bit big b/c I wanted two seasons out of it....I also bought the matching pants, mitts, and super cute hat with the fur....it's beyond adorable!! As far as practicality, it's superb--the entire jacket system. We live in Canada (Toronto, ON) so our winters can be cold. The most important feature of this jacket to me is that it keeps my daughter VERY warm!! In the spring/fall --she either wears the down liner part of the jacket, or just the shell--depending if it's cold or not. Now with just the shell....I unsnap the fur collar and it's a spring jacket shell. I don't need to buy any spring or fall coats for her (huge money savings). I will be buying this throughout her entire childhood (but not this winter coming up b/c I don't need to --she'll wear the same jacket this winter too b/c the sleeve and pant length can be 'let out" to become longer to grow into). Also, it washes really well. Truly the best jacket I've ever seen!! I want one for myself too!! Extremely happy Canadian customer!! :) April 30, 2012
Great winter jacket with tons of flexibility. Our 5 year old really likes this jacket, and she's verrrrrry picky. Loves the fur around the hood and the handwarmers built into the sleeves. Also likes the options of just wearing the inner liner, and the zip off sleeves so she can wear it just as a vest. This winter has been very warm here in Michigan, so she's had lot's of chances to wear the jacket in all it's different forms...all together for serious outdoor play in the snow, just the shell, just the inner jacket, just the vest. It seems well-built so far, keeps her warm for hours outside, zippers are big and sturdy, is long for good coverage, and looks very cute. We are very happy with this purchase and are hoping to get 2 years for our 5 year old and then another 2 for her little sister. February 3, 2012
Not enough down , heavy, but pretty parka. Luckily I purchased two cream colored parkas for my daughter to choose from at the same time. She picked the squall parka since it is lighter in weight. I was hoping the down one will work out for her. My daughter also thinks this down 4 -in-1 parka is heavy and she doesn't like that. U would think down mean light, but this is heavy. The workmanship on this jacket looks great, but not enough down fill in the liner jacket. I purchased this hoping that it will work for my picky 10 years old on days when we get 30 degress or below. Oh, well we are hoping maybe for Lands' end will come out with another down parka in cream or white color that she will like in the future. Right now, my daughter is a proud owner of two Lands' end parka and 3 in one Squall jacket. I returned the jacket within 10 days of arrival. January 5, 2012
warm and well made I bought this coat for my 9 yr old as a Christmas present. She absolutely loves it. It's well made and very warm and she loves the thumb holes. It's an absolutely beautiful coat. I caught it on sale but it's worth the money even not on sale. I expect she'll be able to wear it next year and maybe even the year after ( I bought a size bigger than she usually wears to get an extra year out of it). I wish they made this coat in my size!
