almost the perfect throw
I really hesitated to purchase this throw for 2 reasons, the cost and the dry clean only label. I really try to avoid purchasing things that need dry cleaning. Anyway, for some reason I was very,very, tempted by the looks of this throw and decided to go through buying it., as it looked absolutely divine, and boy, it sure is!! Everyone at home wants(&fights!!) to use this throw. It is really quite cozy and really warms you and makes you feel as if you are wrapped in a great big cozy sweater!! My son wants another one for himself, and I was trying to convince him to get a different & much cheaper cable throw at another major homestore, and he was not convinced. He would rather me get him the Landsend Lakeland throw, as it much more comfy and substantial. I probably would have purchased more, if the dry cleaning wasn't an issue and given it 5 stars plus!!

Perfect for my surgery recup
Just had surgery a week and a half ago and have been using this throw every day since. It's a perfect size to cover my toes and go all the way up to my neck (I'm 5'8") and is soft and cozy.
I'm giving it 5 stars in spite of the fact it needs to be dry cleaned. I too (as did another reviewer) noticed after the fact that it was not washable and kicked myself. But because I'm enjoying it so much, I'll put up with that inconvenience.

Fabulous
I love this throw! It's heavy, thick, warm, beautiful and well-made. The quality is fantastic. It really looks great as an accent piece in my entryway, and feels great for napping!

Thick enough, long enough ... and washable!
Huge improvement over the previous cable-knit, cotton throws I've tried. I definitely recommend!

Cozy!
Since 1998, when I purchased a long-staple cotton cable throw from Banana Republic, I have not found another affordable, comfortable cable throw. Well, this one closely fits the bill. It is chunky and warm, but not too warm when using it while lounging in front of the fire. It is not quite as soft as the other, but very comfortable. I bought the ivory one, to go with the room colors, but have not had the need to launder it yet.. Perhaps that will soften it more. Not a complaint on the quality and look!

Fingers crossed that the 3rd time will be a charm
First, as other reviewers have raved, this is an exceptionally nice throw--classic design in a perfectly substantial weight and in a wonderfully soft cotton...but, please NOTICE that the product instructions recommend dry cleaning. I did not notice that and put the first one I ordered into the wash on cold, delicate cycle--it fell apart--the borders were coming completely unraveled all around, so I returned it to Sears, admitting that I had gently laundered it--they processed my exchange with no issues. Then we received the second--within a week it had begun to unravel around one of the edges as well, between the border and the main body of the throw, just as the first had. I so want to love this throw and am hoping that we just got unlucky...twice. I've just ordered my third because it's such a gorgeous little blanket, but it should be constructed well enough to be actually be used, right?

Great quality and thickness. Love it!
Just ordered a second one since it's now everyone's favorite! MUCH better quality than than pottery barn's and this one is ALL cotton. Just get it...it's one that will last forever....you won't be sorry.

This is the best throw I've ever owned.
The size, weight, comfortable 100% cotton yarn, and construction are all perfect in this throw. I'm expecting fights to break out on the sofa over who gets to use it.

Just what I expected...
The throw is just what I expected. The color is perfect for the room and the material appears to be good quality. I would give an excellent rating if the product wasn't so pricey.

Luxury and Quality
Loved the feel and the quality of this throw. For the price I consider it a luxury and I was not disappointed. I only gave it 4 stars becuase I have not washed it yet.
