Definitely not the Same Quality
These towels are cute, the color is great. However the quality is not as is used to be. Both of my children got them a few years ago and then my son was given another one this year. It was noticable right away that the quality is totally different. The older ones are much thicker, sturdier, and more absorbant. The new one is thin and that kind of velour that is just not absorbant. And defintely not worth the price to embroider. They are both 100% cotton but the older ones were made in El Salvador. These new ones are made in Brazil. I assume Land's End moved production for a cheaper price which I don't think they passed on to the customer. They are cute but know what your are getting. I am going to be looking at LLBean for those quality thick New England beach towels I expect.

Don't buy this towel!
This towel is made in China, and the quality is so poor, you would be better off spending $5. at your local Walmart. I am saddened by the decline in Lands End products. This beach towel is thin, and not worth the full price, the sale price, or even the clearance price it will eventually end up at.
This is a return , and a big disappointment.

Very Disappointed!
The towel is large (which is why it received the second star), but much too thin for the price and has not held up well in the wash. I also had it personalized and think the lettering should be larger. Definitely not worth $25!

Unraveling already?
This was my first time ordering from Land's End. My daughter and I were excited to receive this embroidered towel. However, I was equally, if not more, disappointed to see that this towel began unraveling after just one wash.

Cute!
I was really hesitant after reading some of the reviews about this towel, but my 7 and 3 year old girls really wanted them. They are just as Bright as seen on the computer. Though not as heavy as my other Lands End beach towel, it is still a good quality towel. I have washed them a few times now (in hot water) and they come out just fine. No Fading! Just normal wash wear. I would totally recommend this towel to any Tie Dye fans, it's Super Cute!

Good quality. Perfect for swim team.
Pleased with shipping time, quality, colors. It gets almost daily use for swim team practice and meets; still looks new!

nice and big
My daughter loves this towel with her name on it. It is a very big and heavy towel. It's thick and not thin like most. Only problem I see is that two of the ends started fraying after just one wash. I trimmed them off and all is good with my daughter.

Great, bright colors, perfect for pool or beach
I ordered these towels for my three kids with their names monogrammed for our summer at the pool. I love the large size, bright colors, and soft fabric. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that I had hoped the towels would be a little bit thicker.
