Kids' tie is exactly the same length as adult tie The large was too large for my 13-year old son. I measured it and found that it is the same length as my husband's ties. What is the point of calling it a kids' tie if it is the same size as an adult tie? June 19, 2012
classic repp tie; how can you go wrong? Colors and pattern are classic. The length is good. There will be fold creases or wrinkles from shipping - DO NOT IRON this (or ANY othyer tie, for that matter. You'll end up with a shiny line down the front middle from the handsewn seam in the back). Instead, I steamed the wrinkles out and allowed the ties to hang until cool. Perfecto. I have the same tie/pattern/colors; my boys like for us all to wear them like were quintuplets; however, this is not a requirement from Lands' End. ; ) Although we look like the Duggers family portrait, if it gets all four of my boys in blazers and neckties without complaints, I am all for it. Pre-tied Tie Rocks! Great school colors! These ties are wonderful for kids this age. They are safe, if pulled really hard they come off, so no choking hazard. I got a small for my 6yr old, and a medium for my 7 yr old. The small will not fit my 6yr old next year, so if Your child is tall, get the medium. The medium should fit my 7yr old for a few years, provided the tie lasts that long, what with how rough little boys are on their clothes. Yesterday my son came home with chocolate milk dribble down the tie. I rubbed it clean with a wet washcloth, came out just fine. May 1, 2011
