Love the colour and exterior fabric - don't like interior
I've been buying LE lunchboxes for my daughter for years. Both of us love the colour and the material that the exterior is made of. This cleans easily and well. In previous years, the interior did not have a seam attaching the sides to the bottom. We've used this for nearly 6 months now and the interior is really starting to annoy me. Because of the interior seam, and the design of the interior, crumbs and other food constantly gets stuck in this seam. Even though I wipe it out constantly, I've found that it has started to mould on the seam.
I don't like the EZ wipe lunchboxes because their sides are too firm. I won't be paying the high cost of the lunchboxes if the quality is not maintained. I'm increasingly getting worried about the quality control issues of my recent LE products and wonder why on earth they are changing the design of true and trusted favourites.

Nice size and sturdy lunch box
Bought two of these for the kids, and they are perfect.

disappointed
Kids lunch bags need to be machine washable. This one is not. Too bad cause otherwise it would be great.

not for kids
I bought this for my 4-year-old niece. it's made of good materials & clearly of good quality, but it's too big for a small child who goes to preschool. I think it will hold up pretty well, but I can imagine my poor little niece lugging this large lunch bag, & I cringe.

Lunch bag is stackable, yet will fit nicely and securely
I wrote a review on the comics lunch bag and am just impressed by this print as well. I got it as a gift and love lands ends products! This can fit in the three divided container by ziploc, a funtainer thermos FOOD jar, an 8 oz bottle and i can stack a juice box on top of the ziploc container and the zipper closes easily and the lunch bags doesnt seem bulkly at all!! this will all fit in the main compartment, and if i really need to, there is space on the outer zipper as well as a mesh pocket outside. this is a wonderful product quality wise, size wise and the patter is outstanding! keeps lunches cold with icepack even after school hours. for extra coolness, you can put the lunch bag in the fridge overnight, but make sure the zipper is open all the way and the lid, and it will increase the insulation. thank you lands end!!! and of course lands end sales and free shipping!! :)

Great lunchbox for the price
We've had many lunchboxes and this one is the best. The pattern is so cute and the size is perfect. It fits everything my daughter needs for lunch (sandwich, yogurt, fruit, juice box) and then fits neatly into her backpack. Would buy it again in a heartbeat, but it's made so well I don't think we'll need another one for a few years.

Deceptively Small
i love this lunch box. My daughter has used it for 2 weeks now, and it still looks new. There's tons of room in it, even though it doesn't look like it. I like that it's not structured (like the other models) because we use a lot of little plastic containers. If I put her sandwich in a plastic bag all of the time, I'm sure I'd feel differently, but this little bag is perfect for our needs.
I should also add we like the color; daughter likes the embroidered "charms" and I like that the bright purple covers all sorts of signs of wear.

Good for softsided lunch bag
#1 - LOVE that it has a loop/strap on the back that slides down, over the pull handle on the matching backpack.
#2 - Seems to hold enough food for a kids lunch.
#3 - Insulation? My child did say the cheese stick was TOO cold when it was next to the icepack...so I guess that's a good indicator it's working good enough.
The only CON: it's soft sided, so lunches can get squished. Just have to keep that in mind.

Cute, functional bag
We had a metal lunch box already for the 2nd grader, but gave in to her request for a soft-sided lunch bag like everyone else's. This one is a nice size, easy to wipe out, and did not have any yucky chemical smell.
The big mesh pocket on the outside flap is big enough for the huge ice packs we already had. The two narrow mesh pockets would probably be useful only for a straw--the top of the pocket is close enough to the zipper than I would be afraid a fork placed there would poke a hole in the lunch bag or our typical plastic spoon would have the top snapped off. I really like being able to attach it to her backpack via the handle which unclips easily enough for her to manage (without any worries of it coming undone on its own).
We had it monogrammed with a 5-letter name (2 letters of which are narrow), which fit perfectly between the other embroidered decorations. I can't imagine that 7 letters would actually work, though that was the maximum allowed. I was slightly disappointed that the detault monogram color is not the same bright gold as the decorations right next to it--it was a more pale, dusty yellow. But the 2nd grader is quite happy!
