My granddaughters love these (and so does their Mom).
I got one for two of my granddaughters ages 8 and 10. They absolutely love them. In fact the 10-year-old even wore hers in the rain instead of her raincoat. Their mother, my daughter-in-law, likes the way Lands End sweaters machine wash and hold up. I definitely will buy them again.

Comfy, stylish hoodie
This fits true to size, and comes up to my hips. I'm a small woman at 5 feet 92 pounds. I find girls clothes (size 14) are more consistent in size, and fit my frame better. I bought this in grey and black. They're quite soft and good quality. It looks great with the chino skort. I ordered one for my niece, too.

Nice weight. Looks great and provides warmth too. Good basic to have in more than one color.

Some colors are better than others
I actually purchased the XL in girls for me, as the sweater does not come in petite sizes. I chose 5 of the 6 colors offered and wanted to keep them all. But the knit of both the evergreen and the red was thinner and looser. The sleeves on those two were about 1 1/2 inches longer and the ribbing was almost shapeless. I kept the black, navy, and pewter, which rated a 5.

OK but nothing special
This is the 2nd Land's End zip cardigan I have purchased for my daughter. The 1st one (2 yrs ago) was the cable knit, and it was much nicer for comparable cost. For the price, this cardigan is nothing special. It does not hold it's shape at the bottom, boxy, but comfortable. We ordered a medium big girls. My daughter will soon be 11 & low-avg. height, and this sweater comes to the top of her jeans. The sleeves need to be cuffed. Not sure "fits small" is accurate but could fit better in different places (length). My daughter likes it, which is why I give it 3 stars; otherwise, save some money or try the cable knit instead.

The sweater fits well, is cozy, and looks great.
The sweater fits true to size, looks great on my 10-year old daughter, and is cozy. We have washed it once, and it seems to wash well. The quality seems great, and will work out well as an everyday school sweater.

Nice Material
I was weary of ordering this as everything I order is in plus size. I figured I would give it a try. It fit my daughter no problem. Its great material, not bulky and not too thin. From the feel of it, I think its going to be great quality, wash well and last a long time.

My daughter loves these sweaters!
My 11-year old had two of these sweaters last year. They are a great length, extra warm, and she loves that they zip up and have pockets. She grew a lot this past year and asked for another one of these sweaters in a bigger size this year. A great product!
