Love these swim shorts-thank you LE
Love these shorts. Ordered a size down based on prior reviewers comments and they fit perfect. Love that LE offers high quality swim shorts for girls. We are on the boat almost everyday and these shorts offer a comfortable swimable super-cute option. Got the purple dots and the blue pattern and love them both. The elastic waistband is a perfect fit for my skin ey 7 year old who usually wears a 7 but got her a 6 in these.

Great swim shorts
My daughter chose a pink pair of these to go with the pink swim shirt with dots. They fit her great and are very comfortable. She has enjoyed them in swimming. The color of the shorts does not perfectly match the fabric of the shirt, though I think this is because they are different fabrics. It is pretty close to the same and I may be the only one who notices, but that is the one thing I wish was better, the color matching.

Perfect shorts, extra modesty
These swim shorts are perfect when extra modesty is needed! They fit my daughter true to size. We've always been pleased with Lands End's swim shorts and are completely satisfied again this year.
Worth noting is that while the shorts match the other swimsuit pieces, the polka dot pattern shorts do not have the sparkly foil accents the swimsuit tops have.
The fabric is a bit stiffer than expected, but my daughter likes it. The shorts resist bunching, ballooning, and sticking better than lighter weight fabric. When dry, they wear more like regular clothing. Throw on a T-shirt and wear them beyond the pool or beach. However, the fabric might be too stiff or bulky when made into the smallest sizes.
There is a thoughtfully placed piece of fabric on the inside of the waistband behind the rivets, giving a smooth fit and preventing skin contact with the rivets (for kids with dermal allergies to metal.) As always, I wish the drawstring was functional for size adjustment. It could possibly be made functional by slipping a few stitches to insert a drawstring.
I only wish they hadn't sold out of the dark blue so quickly!

Great Swim Shorts
Great shorts for swimming. Elastic waistband which is great, but call Lands End to get the measurements of the band once it is stretched out so that you can order the right size. They run just a little bit big.

Cute Swim Short, but too Large
This swim short is well constructed. I ordered it for my granddaughter who is a swim team member and I liked the modesty factor of shorts rather than a swim panty. This item runs a bit large, or at least it was too large for her. It is currently out of stock in a smaller size, so I am trying other options. Quality is nice, fabric is nice.
