Super cute, pretty comfy
Read reviews by adults who'd purchased this shoe for themselves. Took their advice for myself, and bought size 7 in girls for my size 8.5/9 medium foot. Great fit, though footbed not terribly supportive. Love the color - bought the navy with lighter blue floral crisscross. Have had MANY compliments, and made many referrals. I plan to wear these all summer long, but with my orthotics in place.

Best of all worlds
My daughter's school has a uniform with a "sneakers" only policy that I fully support, but she would like to wear dresses sometimes. This shoe is idea as she can have a little feminine flair while keeping her foot protected. She likes to wear them without socks and it is warm enough here to do that. We haven't had them long, but we bought a few earlier versions and they wore very well. I even washed them toward the end of their lives and they held up to that! I'll be back in the fall for another pair (maybe two? Navy would be awesome...)

Happy to own these shoes again!
I am an adult who purchased these shoes for herself. About 5 years ago, LE carried this style in women's sizes and I bought a pair. They were so comfortable, supportive, and cute that I bought 3 more pairs. Other than bedroom slippers, these shoes are just about the only shoes I've worn over the past 5 years. They are so durable that I still own three pairs--two in very good condition and one stained pair that I wear for doing yard work. I wanted to buy even more colors, but LE discontinued the criss-cross strap style. I never bothered to try the new style of Mary Jane trekkers because all the reviews I read were just awful. Customers were complaining big time and asking for the old fit and style back.
Then I found out that the old style was available in girls' sizes. Fun colors, too! I ordered the blue and the bright pink. They are slightly snug, but my foot is a little wide and wide sizes are not available. I'm hoping they will stretch out a little like my old pairs did. Otherwise, they are cute and comfortable.
I normally wear a 7.5 in women's shoes, but a girl's size 6 seems to fit well lengthwise.

Sturdy Shoe for Play
I bought this shoe in size 10 for my almost-4-year-old daughter and she loves them. I still need to help her put on her shoes, and these are easy to put on and have worn well so far through lots of rough and dirty play. Shoes seem to run true to size, and the insides are made of anti-microbal material which is a bonus! I'd highly recommend these shoes.

Cute shoes, but a little expensive
I bought them for my niece. The shoes are a little big, but they are so cute and in good quality. We decided to keep them. I took one star off because it's a little expensive.

Great overall summer shoe.
I bought these for my 7 year old daughter. She loves them. We had the version from several years ago which seems very similar to this new trekker. Sizing seems to run a little big, which I find consistent with most of Lands End shoes. I bought her a size 1, but ended up exchanging for a 13. Cute color.

Need Half Sizes
This shoe is cute and seems sturdy. My daughter liked the style, but unfortunately they were too big and they are not available in half sizes. Why, Lands' End, why??? Kids can't wear a shoe that's too big or too small, and quite frankly, neither can anyone else.

Okay
We bought these in a 12 because my five-year-old's foot is an 11 and we've been buying 12's for room to grow. The catalog associate had said that an 11 would take that into account but never having bought shoes online or from LE I erred on the safe side. It turns out an 11 would probably have been fine because the shoes are too long even for wiggle room. I will keep this in mind in future. We bought these on sale so I'm not put out. We'll use them as indoor shoes in the Fall or for next Spring. I bought them to go with summer dresses (we don't "do" shorts!) while playing in the playground. I think a few people have said they are more narrow but they seem regular width to me.

Looks as pictured, comfortable, easy slip on, cute.
My daughter is very picky when it comes to shoes and she likes these shoes. Most importantly she likes the look, they are comfortabl,e and she can slip them on and off easily. She is not a tennis shoe wearer, so these are fashionable, but yet can be worn in gym class.
