It’s a blizzard of winter coats for kids out there, but it all boils down to two key words when it comes to the best protection against the elements: warm and dry. We build our outerwear just like we do for adults — with premium insulation and weather-proofing, but we also add tons of kid-friendly features like Grow-a-Long™ sleeves, 360º reflectivity, and EZ-Zip tabs. Then, we put on our white coats and protective eye gear and head to our special weather lab to test just how much cold all our coats can take. The results make choosing the right coat as easy as the snow days. Guaranteed. Period.® Machine wash. Imported.

Girls' Stadium Squall Waterpoof Coat 4.3 5 32 32
Just what I was looking for... Looked for a long time for raincoat for my 6yr old granddaughter. This one was perfect. It is waterproof and warm and long enough to cover her legs when the wind blows the rain. All the other ones were jackets so only came to the waist or hips. She loves it. April 24, 2013
Great quality but poor fit The quality coat is great (as always), but the fit is something. It's long and narrow. My 8 year old usually wears size S, but this one falls below her knee. It is also long in sleeves. At the same time, it very narrow, I can't imagine what to put on under it. April 24, 2013
Great coat for a petite woman as well! I live on Canada's west coast, and our winters mean more cold drizzly rain and winds than snow. I was looking for an affordable knee length jacket that was warm, waterproof and light ( I work in PR and I do a lot of outdoor events). I ordered this jacket in a Large. I normally wear a Ladies size 2 or 4. I read the previous reviews saying the jacket fit big and I would agree. A Large (rather than an XL, which I often look at when if I am shopping in the 'juniors' department) was a good fit for me! I really like the 'semi-mittens' attached to the sleeves. They don't show unless you want them to. But they are always there, and they allow me to have my fingers free to handle papers, cameras, etc. They colour is OK (I have the green/yellow). It certainly is visible and I also like the reflective tapes and piping. Important for safety if you are walking in the evening near traffic. April 14, 2013
Beautiful Coat I can't tell you how great this coat is. Everytime my daughter wore this out she got compliments on it. Great for dressy occations and great for school. My girlfriend liked it so much that she bought on for her little girl for next year. April 13, 2013
Great for leggings or for dresses, a very long coat, but very well made I purchased this because my little girl likes to wear leggings and dresses with tights, and I wanted a coat that was long enough to keep her little legs warm in the fall/winter/spring here in Nova Scotia. This coat definitely will do that. It's beautifully made, lovely finish, sweet colours (we got the purply one), and all the details are great - super coat, and we bought on sale, free shipping, can't be beat. It is long. It's very long - it's below her knees, and she's tall. So she will grow into it (I'm sure we'll get at least 2 years out of this, I bought one size up). You can extend the length as they grow which I think is terrific. It is cumbersome for my little one. At the moment she has a hard time going up the stairs in it - but by next year (when she's a bit taller) it shouldn't be a problem. But the photo of the girl model is a little misleading. This is definitely not an above the knee coat. Be aware of that. That being said, other than her having a bit of difficulty I would think leaning down to do the zipper (we'll have to work on that), it's a super coat if you don't want to use snowpants and want coverage. I still bought a two piece suit for snow play, because i don't think you could easily fit snowpants under this (I just think it would be too cumbersome, and it's probably too long to go sledding in, or play comfortably) - so it's not going to be her main jacket. That being said, I wouldn't have paid full price for this just because I wouldn't think we'd get that much wear. But for a long coat, when she doesn't need snowpants, this is great. March 2, 2013
Good Squall but too long It's a good warm squall but the length is too long that makes you look disproportion and non flattering. Would be great if it is a few inches shorter. Would not recommend this product. Sorry! January 13, 2013
GREAT COAT I bought two of these coats for my grand-daughters. The coats are on the long side, but that is just what they need here in Cleveland, OH. I think you could improve on the design by including a two way zipper the way you do on the adult version of this coat. It was a little hard for the girls to manuever the coat to climb into my SUV. Best purchase yet! I bought this coat for my 5 year old daughter in the lime/yellow. What a beautifully constructed coat. I really wanted her to have a rain coat that was also warm...this was a wonderful alternative. It's light and breathable and has wonderful detailing. I love the snaps on the bottom that can be unsnapped to enable more movement due to the fact that this is a longer coat. We finally had a break in the weather and it was about 45-50 degrees today she was so psyched to wear it and had even snagged a few compliments in the grocery store. I bought this on sale and I can see why it was originally over $100. It's well made with quality materials, love the reflective details on back and along certain seams. I bought the next size up in blue since my daughter and I love it so much...and she's even harder to please than I am! January 7, 2013
Recommended, but long. My daughter just turned six, is 48 inches tall and 48lbs. She is on the tail-end of wearing size 6x. Her current size 5 grow-with-me coat will not see us thru another season. It didn't make sense to me to get a "little girls" coat this winter, so I opted for a "big girls" coat, size 7-8. My daughter loves the length because she likes to wear tights/skorts/dresses during New England winters, so it keeps her legswarm. She has some difficulty bending over to zip it, but will master that with time. It is restricting when she sits down; it's a shame that they didn't think to add a two-way zipper on this coat. The hood should come off, but it's not a deal-breaker. It's warm, the mitten pocket is handy, and the side snaps at the bottom side hem are helpful for running/movement. I see my daughter growing nicely into this coat. Again, this coat fits big, but I wanted it that way so my daughter could use it for two seasons. I recommend it. January 5, 2013
Fab My 6 yr old is small so it was VERY long on her but PERFECT for keeping warm and dry in snow and cold weather rain. Most raincoats for kids are WAY to short and not warm. This fills in perfectly. January 5, 2013
