It’s a blizzard of kids’ coats out there, but it all boils down to two key words when it comes to the best protection: “warm” and “dry.” We build our children’s Squall® Parka just like we do for adults with premium, bulk-free insulation and weather-proofing, but we also add tons of kid-friendly features like Grow-a-Long™ sleeves, 360° reflective patches, SnowGuard sleeve cuffs and EZ-Zip tabs for mitten-clad hands. Then, we put on our white coats and protective eye gear and head to Kansas State University’s special weather lab to test just how much cold our coats can take. The results make choosing the best protection for your child as easy as the snow days this Parka was made for. Guaranteed. Period.®

bring back full fleece coverage !!!! My daughter has worn the older version of this jacket for 2 years. She's finally on the verge to outgrow, so reluctantly, I ordered this newer version, even though I read reviews that the polar fleece on the inside is not full coverage. It is "barely" coverage of inner polar fleece. What is up with that? This is not a good winter jacket. Partial internal polar fleece is not sufficient. Please bring back the original jacke w/ full body and hood covered fleece. I'm starting to doubt the quality of LE jackets and am pondering paying a higher price for better quality. Come on!!! Looks nice, armholes too snug Gave it a 3 because if you can't wear it.... Overall the parka looks very nice. Especially like that it is waterproof. Looked like just what I was looking for. The issue is with the armholes being snug with just a t-shirt underneath. If a heavier shirt or sweater were worn under it the armholes would either be uncomfortable or not fit at all. The fabric is somewhat stiff which seems par for waterproof jackets and would rather have that than a softer jacket that moisture goes through. Can't rate warmth or how it will hold up because only tried it on once inside the house. The inner pocket is just a piece of mesh. No way to close it. Anything in it could fall out with running, jumping or rolling in the snow. Having said that, on the outside there are 2 chest height zippered pockets and 2 lower pockets with flaps closed with snaps which should be enough. Unfortunately will be returning it. Wish you had the old pockets on the inside Appears to have good quality construction - will see after my little dirt magnet gets it dirty enough for a wash. September 30, 2012
