Great Bermuda shorts!
I was very happy to find long shorts at Lands'end. The quality is always very good and the fit consistent. I have been frustrated the last 3 years trying to find shorts that are modest and often ended up in the boys department instead. If there were more solid colors I would buy them. Highly recommend theses shorts.

Very Nice Shorts - Modest
I was a bit hesitant to order these based on previous reviews but I am glad I did. These are very nice shorts. Perfect if your child's school requires "longer" shorts. We ordered two pair in the size 14 and felt that they were very generous in the waist (thank you for the inner elastic) and even a bit baggy in the legs. My daughter had recently outgrown size 12's from Gymboree so I assumed a 14 would be called for here. A 12 in these shorts may have been a perfect fit but at least with these 14's she will have room to grow and I won't have to worry about them shrinking too much in the dryer.

There is something wrong with these shorts!
It is extremely rare that I write a poor review for LE products because I LOVE them for myself and my daughter. However, I was very disappointed in these shorts. I order the same size I always do for my daughter but these wouldn't even go past her hips. Plus they came with one side rolled up and one side rolled down. I guess since they have been folded like that for so long the creases were perfect and smooth. But when I rolled up the other side it looked sloppy and wouldn't stay up on the side without the button. That tells me that either 1) they are never going to match or 2) I am going to have to iron them to stay up. Who wants to iron play shorts??? They are definitely going back.

Perfect modest short for warm days
I love the length of these shorts, and that I don't have to put my tree-climbing, monkey-bar loving daughter into boys shorts to get the coverage she needs for her very active days. The shorts look pulled together and neat enough for hot days at school. Wrinkling is minimal, straight out of the dryer. These are the new faves at our house.

Cute and well made but small in the waist.
Had to return these because the waist was to small in the plus size. The cargo pants fit better for a chubby belly.

excellent fit
I bought these for my 11 yr.(5'5") daughter, who has very long legs, so these bermuda style shorts are a perfect length. She looks ridiculous in the very short shorts, so I'm very happy LE makes this length, too. We weren't happy with the 'pink' color. It looked more like a dusty rose(didn't look young). The white and print shorts were great choices.
