laces are too long; too difficult for my 6-year old to tie
we really wanted to like these boots and they do keep her feet warm but they are such a hassle for her to tie and keep tied for recess. she does have narrow feet but in order to tie them tighty the laces hang to almost the ground, even if triple-tied. takes too long/too difficult for a 6-year old to tie. she complains that she is always the last one ready for recess:( they should have some sort of hook & eye to keep the laces in place while tying. Will order her the velcro boots for at least another winter or two.

Great Boots
The fit was big. We got a size 2 which was a full size too big. The quality was very good. My 9 year old wears these in the freezing cold in Vermont. They keep her warm, are great in the snow and she loves them.

So disappointed :(
I was so excited to get these boots for my 4 yo. Granted she has big feet...she wears a 10.5. But I used the chart and ordered an 11 and they are SO small. First of all, you have this pull-out felt bootie (not sure why you need something like that) so the "give" in the boots doesn't count for ANYTHING -- you are stuck with this completely un-stretchable slim felt bootie sock thing as your size. You don't *have* to take the felt thing out to put the boot on, but my daughter couldn't get her foot in at all so after rooting around in the boot we discovered we could pull out the bootie, and tried it that way. Her foot *just* fit in the bootie, but with her foot in it, it was impossible to get back in the boot! If that's the case, why the heck make it so the lining comes out at all? Ugh. After ten miserable minutes, my daughter said "Mom, I hate these boots!" I hope I can return them, since I bought them over a month ago. We will go for the boots she's had the last two years: the snow flurries.

The boots are great!
I had some doubts ordering the boots. Winters in Russian Far East are severe and the boots met my expectations. They are warm, waterproof and my daughter likes the pink color! They are rather high so the leg is kept warm. We wear it for a walk and she never complains she is cold. She is 4 and I ordered size 11. The only thing I was surprised at is the inside sock. It's felted. I expected it to be made of fur as the top is. Nevertherless, the boots are warm and soft. And I ordered another pair for my son in black color.

Great fit and Styling- Great colors too!
No snow yet in our area. We are ready. We have always purchase Lands End boots for our twin daughters. Their feet are toasty warm even when we stay out in the snow for hours! The boots fit well and we all liked the styling and the features these boots have. Now we need the snow to truely "test them out"!

These boots were HUGE!!!
I usually wear a size 7 in women's shoes, so I got a size 7. The boots were HUGE!!!! The size 7 boots that I got would fit a size 9-10 foot!!!! The quality/ warmth was great but they were way too big!! I am going to try again and order a size 5. I hope they fit. I suggest ordering a size or two down from your usual size because they run HUGE!!!

Might be good for young girls, not good for women with size 5/6 feet
I suppose, to be fair, I should say that I usually wear a size 5 or 5 1/2 in women's shoes. This means I can almost always buy girls shoes size 3 or 4 and have them fit fine. When I tried these on they felt warm enough, but they are SO narrow! Much more narrow than other girl's shoes I've tried on before and I don't have a wide foot by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe this would be a good fit for a girl who has a narrower foot, but I wouldn't recommend it for a small-footed adult or even a teenager with average width feet. I'll be returning mine.

Don't use the size chart printout
We just received these boots and they are great quality! Love the color and style, very cute. Seem like they will be very warm. However, I printed out the size chart and had my daughter put her foot on it so we would be sure to order the right size. I was so surprised that the chart said to order her a size 7! I was going to order her a size 5. We checked, and double checked, and yes, according to the Land's End size chart, we needed to order a size 7. Well, the size 7 is HUGE!!! There is no way this fits her. It fits me and I wear a size 8.5 - 9. We will be returning these and ordering the correct size. Hopefully we get them before we get any more snow.

Love these boots!
I was so happy when I had received these boots for my daughter. I just know that they will keep her feet warm and dry when she is out playing in the snow. Those that have seen them, (no snow yet) are very impressed with them.

Well built boot
The boots fit my daughter nicely. I did print out the foot measuring guide to order the correct size and it worked. The boots have a very sturdy removable liner and look well made. Of course it hasn't snowed yet, so they haven't been tested, but I'm feeling good about this purchase. We are ready for snow!
