No Toggle or Elasticized Cuff to Seal Out Snow
No toggle or elasticized cuff to seal out snow. Boots easily fill with snow, and my daughter winds up with wet, cold feet. Would have returned the boots after I realized this, but I wasn't able to find another pair of snow boots in her size at other stores.

Perfect!
My nine-year-old has big feet and we were having issues finding "cute" and colorful snow boots until we found these. They are perfect. She loves the color, fit is perfect, she wears them ALL the time. I am not worried about her feet getting wet and am confident she can have fun in the snow.

Disappointed
We shop a lot with Lands End and are usually pleased with the quality/features of their products, but not this boot. As others have stated, it's wide at the top with no way to cinch it tighter-not good if you have deep snow or a kid who insists on conquering every drift like mine does. The snow manages to make its way in at some point, soaking the inside (even after pulling snow pants over the top) and these boots do not dry quickly. My daughter came home with them very wet yesterday and they weren't even close to dry in time for school this morning, so she had to go with her unlined rain boots instead. She loves the way they look (plus, they match her coat) and I really wanted to love them, but I just don't. I'm shopping now for an alternative and, sadly, will probably end up returning these to LE. :-(

A big hit with a little girl!
These were a gift to a 4-year-old grand-niece - they fit beautifully, and she loves them. We also got her the hoodie with matching color/stitching, and she felt quite the princess with her matching boots and coat. Her folks are sure they will last to pass down to her little sister.

The opening is too wide and no toggle cord up top like boy's boot
I was really disappointed. I understood this boot would have the toggle up top like the boy's SnoGo boot. I was upset to see that it was not on the boot when I opened the box. Now I have to send them back. I am sad because these boots would have matched her LE snow pants. LE - girls need to keep snow out of their boots just as much as boys do. Thank goodness for the fact LE will let me return them no questions asked.

Look nice but too wide of an opening at the top.
We ordered these boots for my daughter, and should have heeded another reviewer's comment about the wide opening at the top. The opening is wide enough to fit another entire leg through it! These will NOT work for kids playing in the snow - the snow would be packed into that opening in no time. I also think that large of an opening would prove uncomfortable after awhile. I wish they made the girls' boots the same as the boys - with a toggle tie at the top. I don't understand why they think boys need to keep snow out but girls don't. We will be returning these boots, unfortunately. And we don't see another option we like, so I guess we'll have to look elsewhere for her snow boots.

A nice, warm boot but no bungee at top as stated in description
Although the quality of this boot is good and it is supposed to keep feet warm and dry, I wonder if that will be the case because when the boot is on there is quite a large opening at the top. The description states that this girls boot features a loop strap and bungee close but it really doesn't. This is just a feature for the boys SnoGo boot. I don't know if we will keep this boot because it really needs a bungee close at the top. I'm afraid lots of snow will get in when playing outside and feet will not stay warm and dry. Might try the Snowflake boot instead.
