ONLY SHIRT MY DAUGHTER WILL WEAR!!!
I love this shirt so much and it is, honestly, the only shirt my daughter will wear to school (even in the winter - despite the short sleeves). She complains the other brands and styles chafe her or the seems are off or she can feel the remnants of a tag. She also won't wear frills, ruffles or pintucks. We buy about 4 shirts each year and they are worn 5 times a week and still don't pill from all the washing and the white doesn't look dingy yet. We also love that the buttons go all the way down to the bottom of the shirt so that dressing and undressing doesn't mess up her hair or send her eye glasses flying. The best part for me is that I don't have to iron and the collar stays straight. I just pull them out of the machine and put them on a hanger and they are wrinkle free. My daughter is a sloppy kid and they are usuallly covered in marker, paint and food but a little spray with pre-treater and they are fine. A few times she really dirtied them up and they held up to bleach without a problem. I hope you never stop making these shirts!!!!

My daughter prefers these shirts with only 3 top buttons.
The fit seems a bit snug especially for LE.

Great shirt, but the fit is off
We had this shirt in both long and short-sleeved versions last school year. The fabric is incredibly soft and comfy (which is very important to my daughter), and launders wonderfully. The shirt looks great right out of the dryer - the collar lays flat and the shirt is wrinkle-free. We did not have any shrinkage either when I washed the shirt on warm/cold and put it in the dryer on low-heat. As much as I love all of these features, the fit of the shirt was really odd. The shirt length is ridiculously long - when my daughter was wearing a size 8 in tops, we had to buy a 6x in this shirt because the size 8 went down to her knees. The problem was that we really needed the size 8 to fit my daughter's chest correctly. I wish Land's End would either make this shirt in plus sizes to accommodate girls that need their true shirt size, or reduce the length of the shirt so we could buy the right size. The shirt would be perfect if the sizing was fixed!!!

My now 9-year-old daughter has worn this blouse under cardigans and skirts or slacks. She is slender for her age, yet the top does not slip or chafe. It launders easily and well and holds up well. We purchased the white, which did not yellow, though we use eco-safe (7th Generation) detergent. The knit fabric is very comfortable. The Peter Pan collar is cute and lays flat. I plan to purchase the next size up and recommend it to others.

Great because I do not have to iron it.
I like this shirt because of easy care. The shirt fits great and holds it shape. The shirt washes extremely well and holds it color and the fibers do not break down. This shirt is designed for a child to use regularly and can take multible washing and still look great. I demand this of the clothes I buy for my children. Land's End delivers
