Nice swimsuit!
The fit was large so I needed to go down one size. But it looks good and stays in place when my daughter is swimming.

bright and fun
My daughter is midway through her 11th year and purchasing swimsuits from LE kids is getting harder given her tastes are changing. But this suit met both our criteria: mine were sufficient modesty and support for her developing figure and hers for something that wasn't too juvenile.
My daughter is thin and the slim size was perfect - I used the measurement chart and it was completely accurate. There isn't a lot of stretch to this fabric, which is good for us given she is starting to develop, but important to note if you aren't sure of sizing.
Fabric and construction appears to be same as previous swimsuits so I expect it will last us for as long as it will fit my daughter!
We have the matching bottoms and the whole thing is very flattering and fun.

Top Fits Much Bigger Than Bottoms
When I ordered this suit, I loved the color and the style. My almost 10 yr old thought this suit looked a bit "older" without compromising her modesty. Perfect! The colors are spunky and it was great in the picture on the internet. When I received it, I noticed that it was a lot bigger in the top than in the bottom. We went down a size and it was too small. I measured it and it was over 2in wider on the top than on the bottom. I will have to send this one back, very disappointed about that!

Unusually wide
After ordering bathing suits for my three daughters from Land's End for the past 4 years, this is the first item we have had to return something. This top is surprisingly wide. We love the top, and am concerned when we order a smaller size it will be too short....

Top is two inches wider than bottoms of the same size
I order suits from Land's End every year, but have never felt compelled to write a review until now. I am so disappointed in the "Sand Candy" tankini top and bikini bottom. This year I ordered my daughter three Land's End tankini sets - two of the sets are GREAT, but the sizing on the Sand Candy set is way off. When laid flat, the tankini top is two inches wider than matching "Side Tie Bikini Bottom" which is the same size (I ordered both in the Fusion Pink Paisley Print). This top hangs off of my daughter. It is so big, I am wondering if the top was mislabeled, however, I don't want to pay the s/h charges to send this back, reorder another one, and then possibly have to ship that one back as well. I am so disappointed.
