Fits small and faded badly. Material wearing through.
These bottoms were cute, and my daughter loved them. After maybe half a dozen swims, I noticed that the color had faded by about 50%. After another couple swims, they faded further and the material had worn through so much that you can read through it! I am very disappointed in this product and the other swim items I bought from Land's End. I also bought the girls' ruffled tankini, which also faded badly. I purchased a swim top and bottom for myself and they also faded.

Great kids suit
My daughter loves this bikini bottom. It fits her nicely and offers the right amount of coverage for swimming all day at the pool. she says it is comfortable and likes the ruffles.

Great tankini bottom. Great fit and color.
My daughter really likes this tankini bottom. The bottom is cute and fits well. It doesn't ride up in or out of the water.

faded after 2 times in the pool
After 4 times in the pool it faded. A LOT !!! I even rinse all of our swim suits with fresh water after every swim and they are not left in the sun to dry.

Ruffle sticks straight out and looks ridiculous with tankini top
I bought this bottom for my almost 7 year old as a piece of a tankini. Unfortunately, the waistband doesn't lay flat without some wrestling that my daughter will never bother to do, so the ruffle stuck straight out. When the tankini fell over the bottom it made this ridge or hump around her middle which was ridiculous. I thought about trying to sew the ruffle down, or cutting it off, but I'm going to return it instead. The coverage seemed smaller than others in the bum as well.

Come on - this is for a little girl
My daughter is 6 and is still wearing Lands End size 5 swimsuits from last season yet. Last year's size 5 still fits very well and the 6's we have from last year in anticipation of this summer are still too big. So I ordered a size 5 and I was shocked at the cut of these bikini bottoms. It is ridiculous that these are styled in such a skimpy fashion for little girls. I understand that is says teeny in the description but why are they cut in a way that little girls can't swim and play without exposing themselves? Lands End designers should be ashamed of themselves.

I would not recommend this suit as it disintegrated after a few weeks of pool use.
I buy my girls Lands' End suits every summer as the styles are classic, not too grown up for little girls, can be purchased in slim sizes, and are usually quality made garments. By the end of the summer, the suits usually look faded and yellowed from sun screen and pool use, which is to be expected. This suit, although pretty, didn't make it through a month of summer fun. The material disintegrated after a few weeks of pool use at home and camp. The suit is actually indecent, as you can now see through it. I am very disappointed and would not recommend this suit or buy others like it.
