beautiful dress
This dress is beautiful, and great for summer. I love that it is long. But the buttons on the back are rounded and pearled making them easy to come unbuttoned, and there are not enough buttons (they are spread a little to far apart) especially near the rear making it possible to see underwear when my girl leans forward. Also the dress gapes a bit under the armpits I had to use some safety pins. But overall a great dress, just have to wear a full slip or a cami and half slip.

Lovely spring dress
I bought two of these dresses for my daughters - both 10 going on 11 - with Easter, church, recitals in mind. The fabric is very pretty - dress is fully lined. Could use an extra button, especially in waist area. Both of my girls are slender, so I really have to cinch up the bow in the back - dress lays nicely, in spite of it. I also purchased the simple LE white cardigans to go with these dresses. Very sweet and feminine together. Girls have received numerous compliments when wearing these dresses.

Cute Dress; Nonfunctional buttons and odd gape in back
My daughter selected this adorable dress for Easter. After wearing it for about two minutes we found this dress to be seriously lacking in quality control. The buttons would not stay buttoned. The buttons are too small for the button holes. Plus, there is a three inch gape under the tie belt that allowed her underwear to show. I have never seen anything like it. Sadly, it is going back.

Loved this dress....bought it for two of my granddaughters!
It fit one of my granddaughters just fine...the other one it was slightly big for under the arms and thru the top but a smaller size would have been too short!

Pretty fabric.....
My almost 8 year old daughter picked this out on the website, and she quite loves it. It does fit quite big though, so I do have to tie the bow tightly in the back. Also, the small round buttons easily come undone, so I have to be on the lookout or the lower few buttons are sometimes open. As the previous reviewer also noted, there is quite a gap between the last button and the seam, so there is gaping there as well unless it is strategically tied. I would return it, but my daughter really likes it despite these issues.

Beautiful dress for my eight year old.
I ordered this dress as an Easter dress for my eight year old. It is a beautiful dress but a little large in the body. My only criticism is that the back of the dress is cut unusually low with no zipper. The bow in the back must be tied tight to prevent gaping. The dress is fully lined which does give it a finished look. My daughter loves it. It is so hard to find age appropriate dresses for this age and this one really hit the mark well. Thanks Lands end!
