Super-cute, modest, adjustable, comfortable.
I got these in size 16 for my tall, slender (but not skinny) 11-year-old ballet-dancer daughter. She chose the vista blue floral. They are so cute. Bright, fun. Not too short so mommy and daddy are happy. The tie waist can be adjusted as needed. They will be really cute with a t-shirt and tennis shoes for casual summer wear. They can also be dressed up a tad with her yellow sandals and a ruffle t-shirt or tank. My daughter and I were both very disappointed that the same style in Blue Chambray was not offered in the size 16. If they had been, we would have gotten a second pair in that fabric. But the Chambray style stopped at size 14. That seemed odd - most Lands End children's styles are offered in all sizes.

Perfect shorts!
I have a hard time finding cute shorts that aren't "skanky" for my almost 11 year old daughter. They are comfy, cute, and long enough. Everything is covered! We love the elastic waist. It makes me happy and she loves them! She has asked me to order more. I will be doing so very soon. Thanks LE!
