Great summer jacket for those cool evenings and rain showers My granddaughter fell in love with this jacket the minute she put it on. May 28, 2013
cheap plastic jacket I was extremely disappointed in this jacket. It was extremely thin, practically see-through. For what I paid, I expected more than this. This jacket is more on par with a cheap poncho from the dollar store. If you're OK with a very thin jacket that looks like it could barely keep out rain, much less cold, then save your money and get one at your local Family Dollar. I returned the one I ordered and purchased another rain jacket from a competitor that was a bit more expensive, but much better quality. I'm disappointed that lately LE seems hit or miss on quality. My daughter loves this jacket! My 12 year-old daughter wanted a light weight, cool rain jacket. We looked all over in stores and online and finally came across the perfect one from Land's End. As we live in the rainy Pacific Northwest, she is wearing it just about daily and loves it. It is cute roomy enough she can wear as many layers underneath and looks good without appearing bulky. It's HUGE This was ordered for my 8 year old son who wears a 6-7. I also have a 10 year old daughter who is outgrowing size 12 and into 14. I ordered a size small for my son. Yes, it says a girl's jacket but it looked unisex and does in fact appear to be. The size small fits my daughter perfectly and is enormous on my son. I'm getting really REALLY tired of the sizes being so far off in the LE kid's stuff. It's getting to be not worth it to order because when I have to send back twice for exchanges or just return it I'm spending a lot of time and money on shipping and not getting something that we need when we need it. I have no idea if it's good in the rain. October 26, 2012
cute slicker This is cute but fit slightly large. Other than that, pretty color and does the job! September 30, 2012
Great fit and weight for 3 seasons I love this rain jacket! I love the fact that it is a very thin shell so it works in the summer, spring and fall -there is room for a hoodie underneath on those cooler fall days. The fit is nice too since it falls past the waist. Also, good price! September 29, 2012
Great Light Rain Jacket I've purchased several of these jackets for my kids over the years. Great lightweight jacket. I like that it's not lined so great for summer camping trips, camps and layering. I did notice that this years model does not have the slight bill on the hood that we've had in the past. This was a great feature as it helped protect kid's faces in the rain, but not a major deal. Overall, great jacket August 6, 2012
It does the job of keeping me dry. It's loose because I ordered the girls large size, which I don't mind at all. I'm an adult of height 5ft 4 inches. What is most important is that it keeps me dry in the rain, which it does. June 2, 2012
Great lightweight rain jacket! I purchased this jacket in a 2T for my two year old and so far it has been a great little rain jacket this spring. It isn't lined, which the description indicates, so it isn't warm. But it is waterproof and fits nicely over my daughters clothes. If you plan to wear this over bulky clothing like sweaters you may wish to size up, but for wearing over average tee shirts and such the jackets fits fine and is still roomy. The lavender color is really pretty and goes with most of my daughter's wardrobe. I plan to purchase another of these jackets when this one is outgrown! May 5, 2012
Very thin, not for cool weather We returned this rain jacket because it is so thin and flimsy that it would only be suitable for WARM rainy days. The last raincoat we bought from Lands End was much thicker both in the lining and outer waterproof layer, making it suitable year-round. This jacket surprised me. I expected better quality.
