Inspired by the foul-weather gear Lands’ End founder Gary Comer wore on his record-holding trek through the Arctic’s Northwest Passage, we built an outerwear collection that combines tough-to-the-finish construction with vintage style notes (an homage to the man who began “Guaranteed. Period.®”). In our quest to build everyday outerwear that can stand up to Arctic conditions, we honed in on the details like hefty fleece linings and ear-covering flaps so kids keep warm, even if it’s not 40 below.
