Nice shorts but not enough elastic in waist
Bought for my 5 year old daughter. The shorts themselves are nice material, good length for sports (soccer mainly), but the tie waist is bulky. Without the tie, the waist isn't elastic enough. They'll be ok for her, but would be more comfortable without having to use the tie at the waist.

Great shorts!
My daughter likes longer shorts, and these are perfect. She is able to play sports in them comfortably and they wash great. She has 5 pairs and wears them all the time! I would highly recommend them to girls who like longer athletic shorts.

happy with purchase
Fit perfect and true to size. Daughter loves them. We purchased these shorts in black for soccer practices and they "fit the bill", especially at the sale price. Wash and dry great. No issues.

great shorts
I bought these for my nearly 7 yo daughter for her to play soccer. She loves them. easy for her to move and run and she doesn't get too hot. I will order more.

Great Quality, Great Fit
In an age of short shorts, these were the perfect length for my very tall 12 year old daughter whose favorite activity is playing sports. They seem to be made well and of soft material. They are loose fitting and the waist has thick elastic to help stay in place. I just wish they came in more colors!

PLEASE Make this in slim!
These shorts are perfect for the PE dress code at our school, unfortunately my soon to be sixth grader is very petite, 4'4", 54 lbs. The size small 7/8 is still too big for her both in the rise and the waist. She actually has to fold over the waistband. Will try them in 6X. Love the length of these shorts as many are too short this season. Will probably wear them for soccer too.

Great shorts for a uniform elem. thats not too picky
After getting 12 plus chino pants last summer I wanted to get something diff. for my girl and these were the ticket! They are plain, comfy, and long enuf to cover her in size 14. She likes the easy elastic and never had to tie them. She is still wearing them this summer to camp and I am getting her a new pair for the 2011/12 school year in 16 which I hope fit her nicely with room for growth. Her school didn't care that they are "P. E." shorts.

Good, comfortable running shorts
My mom bought these for me recently. They're very comfy and flexible and work well for running. They are a good length - they actually cover a decent amount of me but don't get in the way of running. I can easily put sweatpants over them, which is very useful.

Run a little big
I bought these for my tall, thin, 11 year-old daughter. They are comfortable, but are a bit wide and long. She normally wears a slim, so that could be why. Fabric is functional, but feels a little heavy to me.
She wears them for volleyball, so a good value for the money.
