Classic, comfortable and easy for kids to dress themselves
My daughters (7, 5, and 3) all love these dresses from Lands End. We buy them in multiple colors and wear them with leggings or tights. They stand up to my wild daughters who like to dress like girls, but play like boys. Despite tree climbing, gardening, playing on the playground and general roughhousing in these dresses, they always wash up well, with little to no shrinkage or loss of color. I pass them down girl to girl. They do run generously sized, so if you buy the size your chiild "usually" wears, the dress will start a little big, but last all season and maybe even the next year. They are lightweight enough to be comfy indoors in the winter, but may need a sweater or undershirt on the coldest days.

Cute and comfy dress
I bought two of these - one for each of my daughters. My older daughter is autistic and very picky about how clothing feels, especially dressier items like dresses. She was able to wear the dress without complaining about it being too tight or restrictive, and each dress was adorable my girls. It is a little lightweight for winter, so a little girl may need a cardigan and leggings for colder weather. The dress works for more casual occasions where a dress is appropriate, but the event isn't formal.

These dresses are awesome!
I got 2 dresses for my daughter, one in her current size and one size bigger for next fall. She loved them! Size 5 fit her perfectly, and looked lovely. She wanted to wear the bigger dress - size 6 (I got them in 2 different colors/patterns) and it worked fine as well with sleeves rolled up a few inches.

Sleeves Too Long / Style Not Flattering
I just bought two of these for my 5 year old girls. My girls say they are comfortable, but I found the style very blah. Also, the sleeves are extremely long on both girls. We had to cuff them twice, which looks sloppy. I was disappointed as we have had good luck with Lands End dresses in the past.

This is a big decline in quality!
We loved the Lands' End jersey dresses for their thick, durable fabric and their hard-to-find, cover-the-knee length. These new dresses are flimsy and far too short for us. We won't be buying them again unless they bring back the old style. I had preferred the Lands' End dresses to LL Bean's for their superior washability and prettier patterns, but I will have to stick with LL Bean from now on. Please, bring back the old style!

Please Bring Back the Old Style!
I'm not sure if some reviewers realize that this dress is not the classic Land's End style we all love. It is shorter, and the fabric is too thin. I called customer service and learned that they have discontinued the old style. We would always order several new dresses each season for my girls, and are so disappointed that we do not have a reliable source for play dresses anymore. The best I can do is to look for the old style at consignment stores. Please bring back the classic style!

Great Play Dress
I love this dress for my four year old! It is great to play in and washes well. My little girl refuses to wear pants so dresses like these are a life saver!! We have three of them and the first one we purchased has some stitching around the collar coming undone, but due to the nature of the dress you can't really tell.

PERFECT DRESS!!
I absolutly love these dresses. Whenever theres a discount or really good coupon i buy these. I have three daughters so i need alot of them haha! The material is amazing and it lasts forever. I bought my oldest a bigger size one time and she wore it for three years. still looks brand new adn i'm saving it for the two younger ones. This particular red reindeer dress is just so cute. Very happy with this purchase and cant wait for all the new designs!! :)

Not what I expected
I bought this dress in light blue online, the fabric is very thin (a summer t-shirt thin).
It is also a bit transparent, which doesn't show in the picture. The inner part of the pockets (a pocket on each side) show through the fabric. I should have bought at least the version with the prints.

I miss the Jersey Dresses!
These lil dresses are precious BUT very thin. I have ordered several. I pray that they last and hold up as well as the Jersey dresses. We live in the south, so the thin fabric is fine as far as that goes but I really miss the quality and fit of the Jersey dresses. Lands End fan forever!!!
