Excellent PJ!
My daughter is 8 and will ONLY wear snug-fit pajamas, which tend to be for younger children, hence not that easy to find for an 8 year old girl = very frustrated Mommy! Then, when they are available, they often have some princess or other little-kiddish type decor and my daughter is feminine, but doesn't want to look like a "baby" and is not into the princess scene. (no offense intended to any who are!) Thank Heaven for Land's End! Just gave her the red sheep pj's and she was thrilled & put them on immediately! Although she's 8, she's very petite - only 50 lbs and about 50" tall, and the size 6 fits her perfectly. She is getting the Bavarian Cream and Love 2 Laugh sets for Christmas, I'm sure she will love those as well. I usually would not pay $25-30 for kid's jammies, but these are worth every penny!

good fit, nice weight
I ordered a size up for my tall 4-year-old and it fit with room to grow. The knit is a quality thick weight and it has washed with no shrinkage or fading. Better quality than other similar knit pajamas from other retailers.

Good quality cotton, holds its shape after several washes, fits pefectly, aqua owl print nice and vibrant
My daughter of 6 enjoys these pjs - she likes the owl print and the aqua color is a nice change from pink. They are made of a slightly thicker cotton, that stretches nicely and is very comfortable. The quality is great - not that flimsy stuff that you can get elsewhere. The shape holds well after several washes.

Fits small
The fit is extremely small; I would recommend buying a much bigger size than needed.

Great pj's!
Hard to find 100% cotton pjs lately. We got the owl pattern, which my 8 year old loves. They fit well and did not shrink.

My kids favourite pajamas
My kids are 4 and 6 and wear a size 4 and 6 repectively. I thought they'd be too small/tight once I looked at them coming out of the package, but they stretch a lot and my girls love them. I find the weight of the fabric just right for the west coast winters and like that they are cotton - I hate wearing polyester in my own pajamas and prefer to avoid it for my kids. My 6 year old is quite slim and has not had a problem with the waistband being too big or falling down. I've ordered a size 6 and 8 for next fall at a great sale price and the prints are adorable (bavarian and owls). I must say that the reviewer whose child found these too snug because she prefers looser fitting pajamas baffles me... these are described as Girls' Knit SNUG FIT pajamas.

Cute pjs, but bizarre fit
I have never written any type of review before, despite buying Land's End for my kids fairly frequently, but I am baffled by these pajamas. They are VERY tight to pull over the hands and feet, as some other reviewers have said, but they are enormous in the waist! My toddler daughters are both long and lean, but they can't even keep these pants on! Even my two-year old can't, and she's wearing a diaper! Land's End pants have always fit both girls, so I have no idea what's going on. I wish I had returned these since the girls never want to wear them.

kids like them
Nice and soft but I would have expected thicker fabric at this price point. Fit is as expected for cotton jammies. I bought size 14 for my twins who are 60" tall, one is 70 lbs and the other about 80 lbs and both girls are comfortable in these.

Great quality, but fits too snugly for my child's comfort.
The fabric, styling and quality are terrific, but in the end we had to return it as the arms and body were too snug for my child's sleeping comfort. My daughter is average size but prefers loose fitting sleepwear and these pajamas fit too snugly for comfort. A real shame as the quality is wonderful. If buying order at least one size larger.

sturdy weight and adorable print
I bought these for my 9-year-old daughter for Christmas. She loves the pattern (the Bavarian Creme print with hats and scarves) and says they are comfortable. We live in Minnesota and sturdy cotton pajamas can be hard to find--these are a very nice weight. My daughter is petite for her age; ~51" and 53 lbs. LE size 7 pants fit her well, so I ordered an 8 in the pajamas. While they fit her perfectly, there is no room to grow in length (I don't think a size 8 would fit a child 53" tall, which the size chart indicates for size 8). She is slender so the arms/legs fit her fine, but may be a little too snug for a child that is above the median percentile range on a growth chart. Also, the collar on the shirt scoops a little wider/deeper than I expected, but my daughter doesn't mind it. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.
