Weak laces
My daughter tugged to tie a bow, and the suede lace broke on the first day of wear. These are very cute and she likes them so we'll replace just the lace. I suggest doing the same until Land's End makes them stronger, maybe a braided suede lace instead of a single tie.

Great shoe, terrible laces
My DD loves these shoes and wore them almost every day until it snowed (now she's wearing boots instead). They're really cute and she says they're comfortable. Our only complaint is the laces. They constantly come untied, even when they're double-knotted (which looks silly with this type of lace anyway). Also, we have the light blue color-- which is really cute!-- but it gets dirty so quickly and the suede is not easy to clean. I'd still buy them again (especially on sale) but next time we'll spray them with waterproofing spray and hope it keeps them looking nicer. I hope the laces are improved on the next version, though!

just so-so
These moccasins are cute, but they seem very narrow, and not very easy to tie.

Cute, but laces a problem
Super cute, but constantly coming untied. After 3 times wearing them, my 7 year old daughter asked me if I could send them back because she didn't want to keep tying.

Not a well-made shoe
After just 3 weeks of wear, the laces broke and the fabric separated from the sole in a large, gaping hole. My niece had been wearing them to school (in dry weather) and they fell apart with typical everyday wear. Had my sister-in-law not thrown them out, I would have brought them back for a full refund. Don't be fooled by the cute design; these are poorly made shoes.

Adorable mocs, but wish there was a side zip option for easier and quicker wear!
We bought the magenta mocs for our 9 year old daughter. She loves them, and they are very cute, but the laces make them a much less-convenient shoe for kids to quickly take on and off! This makes them less functional as a school shoe. I wish there was a side zip, or even lace-free and simply a great pull-on, elasticized entry which would be easier for kids to pull on and off quickly! This, would greatly improve the practicality and function of this product. They look cute, and we will be keeping them. They are a beautiful, soft suede, which seems to make the fit comfortable, but a bit more sloppy than what we've come to expect from Lands End. Maybe a bit of a stiffer structure would pair well with a pull-on style next time around! Love the basic idea of the shoe, though; and look forward to a slight design change for next season!

slippery sole

shoestring broke immediately
I love Landsend for my seven year old daughter BUT these shoes are not made for a running, jumping, skipping around kid. The shoestring broke after wearing them for one evening. She still wears them with new ties but not as much as other shoes we've bought from Landsend. Pretty disappointing!

Great but weak laces
These booties are adorable! They also fit well. Unfortunately the laces are quite weak. One tore while trying them on for the very first time. That being said, we were lucky where it tore where it did so we are still able to tie them. Hoping it won't happen again because my daughter loves them so we are keeping them.
