Beautiful (and modest too) for a "mature" tween
I bought this top in size 16 in the vista blue for my 11-year-old daughter who is very tall for her age and has a developing figure. She is a dancer, and has a beautiful slender figure, not fat at all, but not skinny either. I like how the shirring lends modesty and privacy to her chest area. This top is cute with everything -- I got it for her to wear with the vista blue floral cuffed shorts from lands end, but it also looks darling with jeans, skorts, capris, etc. both casual or dressed up, etc. It's just a beautiful top that would flatter many ages and figures. For example, this empire style would also look cute on my niece who is much younger, shorter and has a little tummy. I am thinking of getting a second color for my daughter. She can dress "skimpy" for our hot and humid weather but maintain her modesty and look age appropriate.

Love this top!
My 7 year old loves this top! It looks darling on and she loves the elastic on the straps, says the shirt is very comfortable - and wants it in other colors. A winner! We have not washed it yet but hope/expect it to hold up well. Thanks Lands End!
