My picky daughter loved these jeans. I would order more if we weren't into shorts weather- I will order next fall definitely.
Fit was good and so far they have washed well.

Perfect Pants for Spring
I bought these for my eleven year old daughter because her school was having their annual spring dance. My daughter has worn Land's End uniforms for years because she is incredibly difficult to fit for a pair of pants. After measuring several times, we decided to place the order for these pants in a size 14 regular in the pink denim. My daughter was ecstatic when she saw the package came two days early. I was quite stressed because we return far more jeans than we keep. My poor daughter is down to two pairs that fit properly. My anxiety turned to excitement when I saw the look of pride and self confidence on my sweet girl's face. The pants fit perfectly. They are a true slim fit jean; not a jegging. These jeans have a much higher rise than most department store brands. My daughter can bend and play without worrying about exposing her undies or worse. The length is perfect; my daughter has worn sandals, ballet flats, Ugg boots, and New Balance athletic shoes with these jeans and each looked great. As a mother, I feel that these are high quality jeans that are cut perfectly by taking into account each tween/teen girl grows differently. These pants allow room in the waist, hips, and booty while having long, slimming legs. My daughter loves the zipper. These pants also wash great. No fading, no shrinking, just great jeans.

Not comfortable in the waist
I love the look of these slim jeans on my slim 7 yr old, but she says the waist has to be adjusted so far in that the fabric bunches up around her waist, while at the same time the rise is so low that she can't bend over comfortably without her underpants showing. Weird fit in the top in a size 6 for a slim girl who likes slim pants. I can't argue with "these aren't comfortable, mommy!" They do seem durable, though, and the orange color we got was gorgeous (can't remember the name of the color). And the legs fit well on her long, skinny legs, although they are just barely long enough.

Plus Sizes A Little Big, But Regardless...
These were the first jeans I've owned in a while. I got orange and pink, which were both beautiful but not over-the-top - perfect. I ordered in a plus size because according to the sizing chart, that was for me, but they ended up being quite loose in me so if you are looking for a tighter jean, size down. They are very durable, however, and the pockets, though small, are secure. The zippers at the cuffs can be bad if rubbed the wrong way, but they're zippers - what can you expect? I wear this on a day-to-day basis and they spice up my closet significantly. On the whole, great buy.

Rad. Pink= Beautiful yet...

*Too big for me, in size I chose: Waist runs much larger than rest of Jean.
*Aside from Waist issue (which thankfully does have inner adjustable tightening), if I recall correctly... runs small in lower/calf leg area and opening for foot.
*Nice Color(s), Feminine, & a variety
*Nice quality/weight jean material
*Shape is a bit off/odd
These PINK Jeans look so Cool & Pretty at the same time. Unfortunately, FIT Issue had forced me to return these awesome looking Jeans. Didn't keep long enough to wash. Tried On and realized I had to Return. Purchased this Jean some month(s) back. Color in Pink was Fab yet couldn't keep for color alone. Lower Legs- very tight yet waist was the opposite. I don't recall all of the issues yet as another Reviewer mentioned, these are H.S. Jeans, not for lil kids! Yet,... also Not for me!
Even on Sale and with feminine, pretty Pink Color available, I'm NOT willing to try a smaller size as I don't think my Feet would fit into the legs (in 2 sizes smaller). Waist runs so large, tightening jean material just looks bunched.
Possibly, for those not expecting a perfect fit, at this price take a chance as it's well made/constructed.

The colors are fantastic! BUT if you have issues with zippers at the ankles.....
My three gals LOVE the colors and the fit of these pants. However, they found the zippers at the ankle annoying and they did not care for the extra material on the inside of the ankle covering the zippers (material to prevent the metal from coming in contact with the skin). A suggestion for replacement for the zippers that would offer stretch and flexibility at the ankle would be a durable stretchy fabric like what riding jodhpurs (horseback riding trousers) are made of. Hope to see these jeans redesigned for the future as the colors are magnificent!!!

Love these jeans!
My 8 year old daughter and I love everything about these pants....the fit, the colors, the style, the quality. They look so good and fit her so well we bought 3 pair. Thank you Land's End!

Slim size is to big
We have always been very successful with the slim fit at Land's End. We were very excited to receive these jeans but the 12S is so big on my daughter. We are going to hold onto them until she grows into them but we were very surprised at the fuller cut. I should have tried another 12S in the same color to see if it was just the pair that we got that was cut big. We will still shop at Land's End. I think this was just odd incendent.

Too form fitting for a Preschooler
I ordered the pink jeans and the color was great. When my 4 year old tried on the jeans they hugged her thighs way too much. The jeans also have a hipster waist which I think is inappropriate for her age. She is very thin - 50% percentile for weight versus 95% for height - so I do not understand why the jeans are so form fitting versus other pencil jean brands. Ordered the correct size versus her other clothes too - a 5T. FYI, the length was just fine. Sending these jeans back.
