So happy to find these skorts!
I have three girls ages 6, 10, and (a small) 13 year old who love to wear skirts/skorts, but like a previous reviewer, we also have a hard time finding them long enough to pass our modesty test (esp. for the older girls). These are perfect. Soft, comfy, perfect length, and with the attached shorts my girls feel comfortable running around and playing in them. We like them so much that we ordered a total of 9 of them for the 3 girls. The skirts shrank very slightly but is not a problem for us. The white does not seem too see through. Lands End, thank you, and keep making the more modest lengths!

This is such a cute and easy skirt. My girls wear them all the time. We need one in every color. The sizing is true and they wash and dry great.
Love these skirts. They aren't too short like some of the skorts. Very flattering on little girls.

Works for us
We were happy to find these. My dd is quite tall, so length is always an issue for us. Shopping for modest and cute shorts and skorts is tricky business these days- there is very little selection.
We were pleased with the color selection (thrilled to find solid colored bottoms) and the length. The skorts are soft and comfortable.
I gave only 4 stars because the elastic in the waist band is a little funky- it is sewn in on the top but not the bottom. I don't think it will roll, but time will tell.
I would encourage LE to continue stocking items of this type. Many of us are out there looking for them and appreciate them when we find them. We bought 3.

Modest length, white fabric is thin.
My daughter lives in LE skorts, all year long. LE makes the only skorts long enough to pass our modesty test. We were excited when these arrived, but unfortunately the excitement didn't last. While the skort is modest,it's almost too long. My daughter decided to keep a white one, so we washed it and dried on low for a few minutes, then hung to dry as we usually do with LE skorts. The skort did not shrink, and the white fabric is thin enough to see the shorts underneath (the ruffles are too low and my daughter's light skin shows through the area beneath the shorts and top of the ruffle. I'll be returning other skorts. So sad; so far this was the only option for new skorts.
