There is something wrong with these shorts!
It is extremely rare that I write a poor review for LE products because I LOVE them for myself and my daughter. However, I was very disappointed in these shorts. I order the same size I always do for my daughter but these wouldn't even go past her hips. Plus they came with one side rolled up and one side rolled down. I guess since they have been folded like that for so long the creases were perfect and smooth. But when I rolled up the other side it looked sloppy and wouldn't stay up on the side without the button. That tells me that either 1) they are never going to match or 2) I am going to have to iron them to stay up or put some stiches in them to keep them up. Who wants to iron play shorts??? Or, sew shorts I just bought??? They are definitely going back.

Great shorts; need slims!
Absolutely love these shorts, but have a small-framed girl. The little girl sizes had adjustable waists, but the big girl sizes do not. It would be nice if they either had the adjustable waist, or also came in slims in the bigger sizes.

Fantastic summer shorts
These shorts are awesome. Just ordered 3 new pairs as my 12 yr old lives in them. She is a 10 slim and these fit perfect. I like the fact that the legs roll as she seems to outgrow everything in length as quickly as I purchase these days, this style lasts a bit longer. She likes them rolled up and they are great for camping, hiking and just running around outside. She says great shorts and only thing LE needs to do is add more colors, yellow, purple/lavender, green etc.

Cute shorts
These shorts fit my daughter who is in between regular sizes and plus sizes very well. They are cutest rolled down and she prefers to wear them unrolled. Nice color too.

Great fit!
My 2 yo daughter can't wear a lot of really structured, tight fitting pants & shorts (& we've had to return or get rid of a lot!) And who wants tight clothes in the summer. These fit her really well. Love the snap closure, roll up option! LE is our new "go to" for shorts.

So comfy!
My daughter has a hard time wearing pants other than leggings. Pants tend to either pinch, chafe, or sag. Not these. She's claimed them as the most comfortable shorts ever and loves the pink color especially. I find that they are easy to adjust, stay adjusted, wash up nicely with a easy summer look, and are soft to the touch.

Fabulous Shorts
These shorts were a fantastic find for my daughter to wear as school uniform shorts. I LOVE the elastic waist. It is nearly impossible to find nice looking shorts with elastic in the waist. The flexibility of an elastic waist is a necessity for my plus size daughter because regular adjustable waist shorts and pants will not work for her. These were perfect. Thank you Land's End for making such a pair of versatile of shorts; she really likes the roll-up option.

Great fit and very comfortable
My daughter usually needs a slim. But since Lands' End and other competitors no longer make slims for girls, we tried these anyway. And they actually fit! She won't use the roll-up feature as they only come down to about mid-thigh even at "full length". But she would like more color choices, such as light blue, denim, or lavender.

Perfect fit for both plus and reg size girls.
These are well made, well fitting and cute either rolled up or down. I will be ordering more in another color.
My only complaint would be that the button holes on the legs are very tight and hard to do and undo.

Modest and Comfortable
My teenage daughter really likes these shorts. She chooses not to roll them up so they are long enough to cover more of her thighs than other shorts. She also loves the fact that there is no gap in the back at the waistline, which is where so many other pants and shorts gap on her! The only thing that would have made these better is if they had been made in the USA!
