Great fit, but faded quickly. These bottoms fit my 8 yo daughter well, not immodest at all with good coverage, and she loves the suit. However, the print we bought (Jewel Blue print) has faded considerably and we will be returning it soon. The same happened with the Jewel Blue print top. April 30, 2013
Both pleased I choose the ruby red dot in the bikina and paired it with the navy dot takini since both are trimmed in the contrasting color. Worried a bit that my granddaughter would not like the contrast as much as I did but she loved it. Thank goodness for something else besides your endless purple, turquoise, pink and more pink. There was absolutely no problem with the fit. April 8, 2013
Fine fit & coverage I was reluctant to order this online, given the comments about coverage, so I purchased these swim bottoms at Lands End Inlet so that my daughter could try them on in the store. They fit true to size, the ruffle is cute, and there is nothing immodest, revealing, or skimpy about the cut. In fact, after I brought them home, I compared them with a same-size tankini bottom made by a competitor children's clothing manufacturer (also known for their age-appropriate clothing), and found the Lands End bottom has a wider crotch panel. Love the prints that these bottoms are offered in - sadly, you're out of the floral print in my daughter's size, or I would have purchased it in that print as well as the cute fish print. All of the suits in these prints are adorable, but we prefer the tankini style for coverage and ease of removal for bathroom breaks. Please keep offering these styles, Lands End. April 3, 2013
SO SKIMPY! Love the fabric, love the pattern but the cut? Way too skimpy for my three year old. I'm really disappointed in you, Lands End. I turn to you for well made, well fitting kids clothes. This one misses the mark by a mile. April 2, 2013
good fit but a little skimpy This swim bottom fit my daughter well. She was able to squat and not show any of her private areas as another reviewer had problems with. When she sat criss-cross the fabric over the crotch seemed a little too narrow. I don't know that it would show anything but my daughter (age 7) said she felt it showed too much. I did compare the crotch width to her last years swimsuit (not Lands' End) and this one was narrower. This is a cute bottom. If your daughter does not sit criss-cross I think it would be fine. My daughter does want to sit like that at the beach. So I returned this one. February 23, 2013
No coverage where it counts I am so disappointed by this tankini bottom. My daughter was immediately drawn to the print and it is a cute suite. But the cut on this bottom is so high and there is very little fabric in between the legs. When I pulled it out of the box, I was immediately concerned. When I had my daughter try it on, I had her squat down like she was "picking up sea shells" and her female parts were on full display. Swimming suits for little girls should not be made the same way they are for grown women. Little girls need more coverage! These are going back. February 21, 2013
