Crotch in Bottoms is cut too Narrow Again
I had read the reviews online before ordering hoping I could find a bottom that didn't have this problem. We love the Lands End quality and the suits hold up so well. I have been buying them forever but last year we ran into a problem with bottoms. We had gotten the sail boat print and the crotch was so narrow that I hated for my 5 year old daughters to wear them because when they sat to play as they often do they were so exposed. This year I returned them because the eyelit cutie has the same long narrow crotch and after looking in the store I didn't see any that were made differently this year except the lining in the board shorts it was designed more conservatively. I don't like the board shorts because they don't give her the same movement for swimming. I hope they alter the design for next year I don't even know where else to look for quality tankini's for my girls but I have to do some thing different this year.

Super Cute bottoms
After reading the other reviews I adjusted the size I ordered. It does run small, so I ordered the 14. My daughter's measurements: waist - 24.5" and high hip - 32". The size 14 fit perfect.

great suit--be careful on sizing
I have ordered my daughter's bathing suits here for years because they make girls bottoms to have appropriate coverage on the backside and not ride up. Historically I have had difficulty in sizing, but now that I have the hang of Lands End's sizing we ordered a suit to fit correctly the first time. I got my daughter the eyelet ruffle bikini top and matching bottoms this year. She is 73 pounds, has a 27" chest and a 29" hip because she has a very full behind. We got the size 12 and it fits her perfectly-she is a size 10 in all other clothing brands. As you can see in the pic you can adjust the bikini top from the back, and this feature appears to be of great quality and allows for some growth. The way the straps are made distributes that pull that can happen and does not bother my daughter's neck. She has yet to use it in the water, but that has never made a difference before in Lands Ends suits, so I don't expect a problem. P.S. we also got the cover-up in medium and it's somewhere between being perfect & too short--I think I would rather have it in a large she she can have a couple years' use out of it.
