Cute, Modest, but Big
We are big fans of the modesty available with Lands End suits. Last year my daughter wore a size 12 from Lands End which is now too small. So, we ordered a 14 in the Bright Iris Stripe on our first try. The 14 was too big. We then reordered asking for a 12. The 12 fit perfectly, but it had "show through" on the top, because the stripe going across in this particular suit was a light color. My sensitive daughter was not going to walk and swim in that all summer! By the way, the 14 we had received previously had a dark stripe and no show through. Well, since we couldn't be guaranteed a dark stripe if we reordered the same suit, we ordered (again) the same style in the Orchid Ice Print. We have received it and there isn't any "show through". I give it only 4 "boats" since we had to reorder twice.

Top Too Big
My daughter loved this suit until she flashed everyone in the pool. It doesn't fit snugly like a swim tankini top should & rides up to come off!

The slim sizes are way too big around!
We ordered the 12 slim in the top and bottom after consulting with a LE online rep. The bottoms fit fine. The top was huge through the chest and barely long enough. If my daughter actually wore it swimming, it would come off! My almost 11 year old daughter is 64 inches and 80 pounds. Disappointed!

Thank You Lands' End!
I ordered the 14 for my daughter for length, it's a little wide on her but I can fix that. Her measurements: 63' tall, 30" bust, 24.5" waist and 32" high hip. We should get many years of use from this suit since the straps are adjustable and the fabric is of high quality.

Even the slim was too big!
My 11 year old is a size 12 in tops and bottoms. She is slim but has never fit into slim-fit clothes. I first ordered the size 12 top and it as way to large around. I then ordered the 12 slim and it's STILL too large around. I know a 10 will be too short. The size 12 regular bottom fit fine. I also ordered the size 12 regular one-piece and it fits great! Perfect size around her chest. Why such variation in suits from the same line?? Frustrating.

Great fit and perfect coverage for a young girl
My daughter loves this suit with the skirted bottom! She feels like a big kid but looks her age in it.
It is beautiful with the colors. It's the quality I would EXPECT from Land's End. I Know this suit will be worn all spring, summer and fall in a pool and last! Thank you for always making clothes I can trust!!

10 (slim) Fit like a glove
My 10 year old daughter is tiny for her age and I have trouble getting bathing suits to fit her. She swims in school, so she really wanted a 2 piece but not a bikini. I was so excited when I noticed that LE sells slim. This bathing suit fit her slim little body perfect and she loves it!! :)

worked great!!
My daughter is an average 11 year old and normally wears 12 and she needed 14 bottom and 12 top. That is usual for Lands Ends suits though so that what I ordered. Liked that the top had extra coverage for pre-teens.

Love the swimsuit style and colors. The bottom seems to run small. My daughter wears a size 12 in other clothes, but will have to order a 14 bottom.
Love the swim suit! My daughter is 11 years old and usually wears a size 12. The tankini top fits fine (with a little room to grow) but the bottom fits too tight. Will have to order a size up.
