Great even in snow!
I was a little concerned about the suede on these boots. My daughter wore them and played in the snow and they were literally soaked. After they dried, I just used a suede brush and they were like brand new! My daughter's friend has a pair of Uggs and they haven't even held up as well as the Land's End boots either. My daughter says these boots are like walking on a cloud!

Great boot for light use
My daughter LOVES these boots. I got them on a great sale price and for the look it was a good deal. They are for light use only in snow, though. These boots would not hold up for stomping through the snow - they are mostly for getting around town in the cold, not really for snow play. When my dauther did wear them for several hours in the snow and puddles they became very wet and took many hours to dry out.

Narrow sleeve, wide foot, stiff, hard sole
I wanted to love this boot, but couldn't get my foot into the sleeve; it doesn't stretch or zip and isn't cut like an UGG-type boot, so you can't slip your foot in at all. The foot area is wide enough, but the sole is so incredibly stiff and flat - no arch support or flexibility - that these boots would be a pain for anyone to wear longer than an hour...if they can get their feet in. I have narrow feet and wear a size 4 in kids normally, or a 6-6.5 in women's. This boot just was cut very strangely.

Mock winter boot
I'm giving a mixed review on these. They are adorable and have a very comfortable feel. These are intended as a Christmas gift for my 6 year old daughter. I know her "style" and preference and know that she's going to love these. On the other hand these are not fit to be winter boots in my opinion. They won't hold up to snowy wet winter weather. I do not appreciate the fact that these boots are listed as "shearling" boots in the title. Very deceptive and as a customer I won't tolerate that kind of deception. It does state faux shearling in much smaller type in the description.
In short: I recommend these for what they are. A cute, comfortable mock winter boot for dry winter weather.
