Not as sturdy as I expected.
I was hoping this bag would be more sturdy. Compared to LL Bean's canvas tote bags, this was a dissapointment. It did not have a sturdy base and the embroidery was too small in proportion to the bag. I do like the color but I noticed, before even using the bag, there were some powdery stains on the bag that is difficult to just dust off. I would spend the extra money and buy the LL bean bags.

Great bag
Love this bag. Ordered an extra large - fits everything a family of 4 needs for the beach or day trip.

This XL bag is great for storing large items
This bag is large enough to store our queen size inflatable bed, mattress pad and sheets together and is easy to carry even when filled with heavy items.

Exlarge tote is perfect for overnights!
I can fit everything I need plus my pillow in this bag when I go for an overnight! So glad to only carry one bag now. I have used LandsEnd totes for years. They are so durable, I also have a Med. for my purse since I was disabled as it allows me to carry multiple small purchases as my other hand holds my cane and I have a Large for my swim bag. Can't say enough good things about them. I monogram each one as a small dressing up factor. I love all the inside pockets and the outside pocket holds keys, phone, lip gloss and mints without being crowded.

WOW! I LOVE THIS BAG!!!!!
This bag kicks butt! I have been a long time L.E customer and never bought a bag because I thought how great could a canvas bag be...boy was I wrong. this bag is AMAZING. heavy duty canvas, deep rich red color, got it monogramed with our family's name, it's wonderful.
It's huge too, we go to the pool a lot and will use to bring everything to the pool, now I can fit all our family's towels, sunblock, mozzie repellent, googles, toys etc. in 1 bag!

Great beach bag for the family
I purchased this bag to carry my family's gear for a day at the beach/pool. The extra large size can hold four over-sized beach towels, water shoes for four, coverups, goggles, water wings, etc. There are several internal pockets that are nice and deep for holding sunscreen, hats, books. There is also a d-ring for attaching your keys--love this. The only "complaint" I have is that it is kind of huge--I am 5'3" and when full it is a bit unwieldy--but this is true of the previous duffel bag we were using too. All in all, quite pleased with the quality.

SUPER STRONG
I waited a long time to get these bags on sale. I ordered them in all the sizes, but after seeing them in person, decided to return two of them. The medium and small were useless to me and the small is a riduculous size to start with - big enough for a sandwhich. I kept the large and X-large which are huge and use them for food shopping instead of those $1.00 bags you buy at the supermarket that fall apart after a while. They hold a lot and are excellent for really heavy items as they won't fall through the bag. These bags are made of extra heavy and thick canvas and have some weight to them. I will have them forever! Get them in a dark color so the dirt won't show - after the light colors start to get dirty the bag doesn't look so nice.
