Really, Lands' End? You should be ashamed!
I have shopped at Lands' End for years, and reliably wear a size 4 in their pants. I especially like the lower rise FIT 1 and 2 pants. I probably have 7 or 8 different styles in my closet right now - All 4s. I'm about 5'4" and 112 lbs., and I have very average proportions - not curvy, not straight. I have absolutely no trouble finding pants that fit from just about any retailer. But these pants? GOOD GRIEF! I sized down to a 2 based on the reviews - The waist almost fit, but was still too big. The hips and front were HUGE! The rise was really, really long, too. The pants did not taper at all toward the ankle, so when rolled they looked sloppy and doofy, NOT stylish. Now I have to pay to return them - although Lands' End is responsible for deviating majorly from their usual fit without telling customers. I feel duped. Lands' End, you should care more about customer loyalty. I understand that Canvas is aimed at a different demographic, but did you not think your regular line customers would want to try it????

A Nice Easy Fit
A nice Easy Fit, not too tight, but not as loose as the model in the picture. I ordered both the size 2 and 4, not knowing which would be best. I like the size 2 best, but the 4 fits more like the photo in the listing. I kept both sizes. I am 5'4", 117 lbs with an actual waist measurement of 27" and a hip measurement of 37". Nice smooth fabric. 100% cotton, no spandex stretch.

Hardly Slouchy!
I ordered my normal size 6 (5"4, 135 lbs), and I was disappointed with the fit. Unlike the model, the pants hugged by body much to close to achieve the slouchy look. The color and construction were nice, but the pockets hit my legs at a funny place and added extra bulk to my hips. Alas, they are going back!

Good Wardrobe Staple
I bought these in my usual LEC size, and they fit pretty well--but the waist band is a little tight--if I pull it up higher it fits more loosely but then the rise isn't long enough and the crotch is too high. Because the wide band and material at the waist, they do NOT stretch out as you wear them (which is a good thing). I have a curvier figure and I think the fit is good for that body type. I had no problems with the length, when I cuff them twice they are a cropped pant (and look adorable with boat shoes or sandals). I ended up buying these in every color because they were such a good deal and I think I will wear them a lot to work in the fall (I'm a teacher) They are a polished pant that can be worn casually (as the pictures show) but also can be paired with something for a more dressy look.

Weird crotch and lefty zipper
I like these pants BUT they are very very long, I think I had to cuff them like 5 times. I love the fabric and color but they fit like a true size not slouchy like in the picture. I guess if you are 105 lbs. and 5'8" they would look just like the picture. They are also weird in the crotch area. The reason I suggested them is because maybe they are for someone with a different body shape, Tall and no hips. I'm an hourglass figure and that was one of the things I LOVED about these, the waist was smaller than the hips, I didn't have to wear a belt like all the other pants I buy. Size up for a slouchy look and if you are short beware of the length.

Not as slim as I'd like
Like others have said, the waist is snug and high up. It seemed disproportionately snug compared to the leg width. I know this is a "slouch" style, but I wouldn't class the leg width as slim. Sizing up would solve the waist issue, but not the leg issue. Too bad it didn't work - they look great on the website!
For reference, I'm 5'7" with a pretty rectangular figure, and usually wear a size 6.

Great Pants
I wear a 8 Canvas ---and these fit like an 8... I have all three colors and like the fit ... Great quality fabric, light so could be worn in summer. I wear them to pick my kids up, church and for everyday events... just so very comfortable and looked finished.

My third pair!
Gotta love these - the fit is great. The description says "slouchy" but I don't find them as slouchy as other similarly styled pants. The length is great for heels, flats, or just about anything in between, and the fit is comfortable without being too loose. With other slouch pants I've tried on, the waistband ends up feeling like it could fall past my hips by the end of the day - not these. The fit stays true and the pants are very versatile.

Straight Figures Beware
These pants are really nice. However, as one reviewer mentioned, they are very "hippy" and seem to be designed for curvier figures. Unfortunately, they didn't work out for me either. However, they are a terrific bargain for anybody that can get a good fit.

I'm in love with these pants!
I'm 5'6"/125 lbs and took a size 2.
I LOVE these pants. I first ordered only one color, but once I tried them on, I went back for every color. They fit me so well and are very comfortable. They are just right in the waist with no gapping, and have a nice slouchy look without being sloppy. I've been wearing them around constantly. They iron easily and they stay cuffed all day long, unlike other rolled-cuff style pants I've owned. Thanks LEC for a great pair of pants!!
