Design: A seasonal sophisticate in our basketweave tweed with a silky grosgrain ribbon waistband and neat pleating (it skews the fabric from old-world classic into one thoroughly modern mini).

Strange fit
This skirt looked beautiful in the picture so I bought it. However it didn't look the same on me. The material is a nice weight and very pretty. The fit is a different story. It was small in the waist and very big everywhere else. I looked like I had a hoop skirt on underneath it! It puffed out all the way around. Not the look I was going for.

BEAUTIFUL - but you have to order down a size or two.
This is one of my favorite fall/winter skirts. The quality is great, and it fits me so well since I ordered a size 2. I am 5'8" and 150 lbs. with a muscular but fairly straight figure, and I like my clothes to have a tailored fit. It is definitely a mini-skirt that hits several inches above the knee. ORDER DOWN A SIZE OR TWO. My size 2 skirt has a 30-inch waist.
I plan on ordering the skirt in another color since I like my first one so much.

Get your size
Call the ladies at Lands End and ask for the exact measurements because it turns out a size two is a 27 inch waist (which is usually like a 4). It definitely goes on teh smallest part of your waist and it turns to be a pretty short skirt. But, it is so cute. I wear it with a blue button down and gray blazer and I feel like I walked out of Harry Potter. It's really flattering if you make sure you get the right size.

Cute but big!
The quality is great and the skirt is very flattering but the waist is HUGE. The only reason why I'm keeping it is because can manage to still wear it and I got it for an extra 30% off. Hopefully I can get it taken in because it's a great skirt. The pockets are awesome too!

The tailoring is terrible.
The quality of this skirt is poor. The sewing and finish work looks like a high school project that received a D-. I have been a very satisfied lands end customer in the past so I was really surprised to receive a garment of this quality.

This skirt fits great and is super fun & flattering!
I love how this skirt fits. I am 5'8" and I am usually a 10-12. The 10 fits great. It is so flattering and the side pockets are wonderful. Somewhere to put my cell phone! The tweed fabric is just right too. I will be wearing this skirt with tights as the cold weather rolls in. I tried it on with the shoes featured in the picture and it looks so cute. I also plan on wearing it with my knee-high boots.

Going to be a fall favorite!!
I just received this and I love it!!!! It does fit big. I normally wear an 8 and the 4 fits perfectly. I'm 5'7" and 140 lbs. So, size down but don't be afraid to order...so cute!!!!

Very cute, very big
If you're not sized out of this skirt then it's very cute. I am usually a 6/8 in skirts and dresses from LEC. I took a 0 in this skirt. I have a 26 waist and the 0 measures out to 27.5. So, ask for garment measurements before you order.
The material is nice, a bit scratchy but it's lined (polyester, boo). It's also a bit short. I'm 5'4" and this came about 3" above my knee. That's a bit pushing it for me, but this is a winter skirt and will be worn with boots and tights, so the shorter length is doable.
If you aren't taller or smaller than I am then go for it, otherwise I'd keep looking.

Very cute skirt, lovely material but BIG!
I got this in my usual size 2. I am 5"8 127 lb The length was good the material lovely. The waist measured 30', It is supposed to fit a 27" waist. The whole skirt looked/hung wrong. I think if you got the garment measurements from the lovely customer service ladie this could be a winner. When I called they could give me the garment measurements, I should have called before ordering. Even If I had it altered it would look all bunchy.It is going back:(

Waist fits big
I ordered a size smaller in the first place (12). I am 5'10 and 165lb. Its a cute skirt but the waistband is big. I will probably have to get it tailored before I can wear it. Very cute though
