Inspired by our famous Canvas Tote, the Canvas Dog Carrier provide the small dog a comfy home away from home. Along with the cutout for his head, it has a firm, fleece-covered bottom for easy standing (rip-grip tape keeps it steady, and the fleece removes for washing). There’s a hook to attach to the collar, and a zip top to keep him secure. 100% cotton canvas (exclusive of 100% polyester fleece). Spot clean. Imported.

Perfect Pet carrier, big and roomy enough I bought the green with her name on it
Great quality and super cute. shoulder straps are long enough to carry comfortable. I was a little afraid to order not knowing if it would fit my Shih Tzu or not but am pleasantly pleased with this tote. I have a 13 pound Shih Tzu and she can stand in this perfectly and loves it. Sturdy bottom and well made. I am extremelly happy with this bag. She can be a little skiddish when out in public but with this bag she loves it and is still close to me to feel secure. Great tote, highly recommend it

Please make a cross body version.
Would love a long adjustable strap with a pad to use this bag as a cross body. Also more colors would be great.

Great but need the 2.0 version to be bigger, have pockets, hooks, & a liner for easy clean-up
My dog is under 20lbs. but doesn't fit in this bag because he is a bit too tall and long (12-14" high to his shoulder & about 17" long) but I have wanted a bag JUST LIKE THIS for so long! I've looked a lot, there isn't anything out there this nice, made with durable LE canvas and with these great long handles.
So, here are my suggestions for a Land's End "Canvas Tote Pet Carrier 2.0." One size larger, maybe closer to the canvas duffel pet carrier. Pockets - a pocket large enough for a water bottle and/or a zippered pocket for keys and a wallet. A carabiner on one of the handles or even the end of the bag so you can hook your dog's leash up and go hand's free if Fido wants to walk occasionally. An adjustable shoulder pad like the strap pad on the canvas duffel pet carrier for the handles if you're carrying Fido a long way. More color options - preferably dark bases and lose the white on the handles completely. In addition to the fleece pad, an easy on-&-off velcro or snap liner that is shaped with sides similar to the base of the bag itself (note the base comes up a few inches on all sides - this would make a great liner inside). This way, if it does get dirty, just the liner could be removed easily and tossed in the wash or wiped clean. Nylon would work without adding bulk. Last, I think the mesh in the canvas duffel pet carrier is good for ventilation. Maybe the zip top could be made of mesh or both ends can have cutouts for Fido's head and air flow.

My Dog LOVES This Bag
I've had quite a few bags for my dog, as she is a 5 lb. Chihuahua and I take her pretty much everywhere. She has never shown much interest in any bag except this one. She LOVES it! If we are leaving and I set it down, she jumps in and waits in the bag. When we get home, she doesn't want to get out of it. If I set it on the floor and it is zipped closed, she will paw at it until I open it for her. If I don't put the bag away, she wants to sit in it all day - in the house! The bag is a bit big, it could easily hold 2 of her, but the strap length is perfect for my shoulder and comfortable, it's also super sturdy and durable. Would be great if there was a zip pocket or something to hold wallet/phone/keys, but luckily my dog is small enough that she can share the bag with those items (and her leash) and it's not a bother.

Best bag ever!!!!
This is the BEST dog tote ever!!! The straps are perfect! Everything about this bag is perfect! I have had this tote for 6-months and use it almost daily including shopping.
I have a few suggestions....
*All black would be AWESOME!
* Smaller bag (my dog is only 3lbs so this is a little large for him)
*Optional fitted pad insert
*Zipper pocket (for keys, wallet)

Worth the Wait!!!
I originally procrastinated ordering this until it went on backorder, but it was definitely worth waiting for! It shipped on the date estimated, even with monogramming (I went with the script style which is beautiful). The bag is larger than I expected, very roomy, and I find the 'leash' in it the perfect length. My 15 week Italian Greyhound fits in it standing with room for a favorite toy or two and extra space. He will fit in this full grown as well, though probably sitting. The construction is comfortable, I'm 5'3" and it sits right at my hip. Another quality product!

The tote for pets is right but the color isn't.
The people who designed this bag didn't have a dog. Dogs drool, get car sick and have dirty feet. For heavens sake white? Lets have it in denim or an allover pattern. The handle gets grimy from use and washings and never gets looking good again. I have a tote in white with red trim. It is useless because it has gotten grubby on the handle and the bottom. You can't use bleach on it for obvious . reasons. Please show the dog carrier in dark or allover colors and in different sizes, please.

Agree--I, too, love this carrier
Very well made & thoughtfully designed. My schnoodle--13 lbs--loves going shopping in it & enjoys the attention he & the bag gets. The straps stay put & are comfortable; the included rigid bottom makes it all work. Super value!

I LOVE this canvas pet carrier!!!
I absolutely love this pet carrier!!! I bought it to take my 9 lb. Brussels Griffon dog with me when I go to the grocery store, etc.. But, I recently went on a trip that required flying on a plane. I decided to try it, instead of putting him in a wheeled carrier because they can be too bulky to put under the seat in front of you. I was reluctant to carry him through the terminal, figuring he would be too heavy after awhile, but it was great!!! He loved being in it, he has long legs for a small dog, and because he would be close to me, and he could stick his little face out to check things out. The price was great also. Got it with my 40% off coupon, how could I go wrong??? Would definitely recommend this carrier to others. Great quality!!!

Great, but too small for my dog
I really wanted this bag to work out for my smallish pug, but it's too small for him. I use it to carry his things to the dog park, but wish that this, or the other style dog carrier came in larger sizes. I'd buy one right away, since the quality is excellent.
