This 95% cotton/5% polyester blanket is still woven on traditional looms in Scotland and is soft as a baby's hair. It's hard to find a monogrammed (up to 3 characters) blanket this fine in the U.S., which is probably why it's our all-time leading baby gift. Measures 39"x42". Machine wash. Made in Scotland.

Great baby present
For the last few years, I have given this blanket or the corresponding blue one as a baby present with the baby's name monogrammed. Even with a gift box, the price is reasonable and I have received many compliments from the recipients.

Love this Soft, Safe Blanket
We love this blanket! This is the only blanket my daughter ever sleeps with. (We have had one for 3 years now- we have bought 2 more- just to have enough for nursery school, and to cover if one is in the laundry). I have read complaints on here that it is too lightweight- but that is the point! When she was a baby, I loved it because it was safe- it is breathable. I love it in the summer, because it is not too hot. And I love it when she makes me take it with us, because I can fit it easily in my bag. Yes, the color fades and it gets thinner (but softer too), in fact I had to wash a new one several dozen times before she would accept it as hers. We love this blanket and we buy it for every newborn we know.

LOVE!
I have been buying this blanket for over 20 years! 4out of my 5 children have theirs ( some thread bare from love) wish you had made them in 1988 for my first. this was a gift for our beautiful new granddaughter so she can love it too!!! Soft, light, and just a perfect baby blanket.

Personalized Bunny Blanket
My oldest granddaughter got the pink bear one from someone when she was born 3 years ago. It has held up well and she really loves it especially because it has her name. When trying to think of something to give my new granddaughter this immediately came to mind. I'm sure she'll love hers too. Nice shade of pink to fit in with everything and washes nicely.

Sweet light-weight blanket
I bought this blanket for my third daughter because I wanted something she could use year-round. Both my older girls got attached to thick, cozy blankets and after toting those around for several Texas summers, I really wanted to find something that I could wrap around the baby all year. This blanket is both cozy and light-weight and the design is sweet. I got it monogrammed with her name and it looks really cute. I washed it per instructions (warm water, tumble dry low) and it came out looking just fine, if anything softer than before.

Wonderful present
I received one of these blankets when my daughter was born 14 years ago and although she would die if she knew I told anyone this, she still sleeps with it! I bought a second one when she was a toddler for fear the original would get lost. They have both held up beautifully after many, many washings. I highly recommend this blanket as a wonderful baby present.

Great blankets!
I have given these blankets over the years as gifts and they are always huge hits. I am even told over time with washings that they hold up well. I also get them monogrammed, and they always look lovely.

Love these, will buy more!
I received the blue one of these blankets when my son was born. It has been a go-to blanket ever since and currently (he's 2) it is his snuggle blanket at school - it isn't too heavy or too light. These blankets are just lovely. I have given 4 as gifts - they are reasonably priced, launder well, and personalized, so they make great gifts.
I was so excited my daughter received the pink blanket when she was born. We use it now, as a nice light layer, and I know we'll continue to use it as she grows.
A great product, Lands End! I'd love more color choices (yellow? green? maybe something bright?) but please keep these around!

not the best balanket
I was excited to get this for my infant son. I also bought the pink bunny one for my 3 year old so she would not feel left out. It looks cute in the photo and almost all the reviews were outstanding. The blanket arrived and was cute, but the material was extremely thin. I was willing to overlook that since I was expecting it to be more of summer blanket. However, when I went to wash it I realized I did not like this blanket. In its first washing the fabric pilled really bad. I had blue and pink fabric balls all over. I dried it on low and when I opened the dryer door a bunch of fluff came flying out. I removed the blanket early and let it air dry, but the whole thing had balled up pieces of fabric on it and they kept falling off all over the place. I shook it out and fluff flew around my house. What a mess.
So now I am left with a blanket that looks ratty and worn. I showed the blanket to my husband and he said it looks really old. I expected it to look this worn after maybe 6 months of use at least. Anyway, not happy with it and thought about returning it, but it is embroidered with my son's name, so I don't think that is an option. Maybe the quality used to be better, but this is not a special blanket like the other reviewers said and I would not send it as a gift to new parents.

THE best baby gift!
I have probably given at least 15 of these blankets as baby gifts over the years. The recipients always comment on how beautiful they are, how often they're used, and how they'll be treasured. They look very delicate, but can handle lots of washings and being carried around into "toddler-hood!" My only suggestion would be to bring back the colors that were offered in the past. Not everyone wants pink or blue for a girl or boy. I gave the yellow blanket often and it was a beautiful, soft shade. The soft green was nice too.
