As an aqua aerobics instructor, I have been wearing Lands End child size water shoes for a few years now. Many pair, actually. Lands End seems to hold up the longest with the fewest problems, and at the best price. I am a womens 7-1/2 but the child 7 is usually too BIG on me (verify your size, but I would guess a woman 8 would fit a boys 7). Consider these if you are a lady with smallish feet. The only drawback I see is that the bottom looks smooth in the pic, compared to the girls model. I'm ordering the girls model for myself this year.

Don't take on vacation!
I purchased these water shoes for both of my sons. After wearing them twice, they found them so uncomfortable that we had to find a store to find different water shoes for them to use. The back of the shoe comes up very high and rubbed their skin raw! If you plan to take these on a vacation, be sure that your kids wear them a lot before you go.

Much better than last year!
Have gotten these shoes for my son from here for years. Last year there was just something "off" about the shoes and didn't work for us. Ordered a new pair this year and they are once again great fitting look nice. Can't wait for vacation!!!
