Boys' Pleat Front Iron Knee® Blended Chino Pants 4.3 5 23 23
Great Quality and Fit My son is rather tall and slender and I was overjoyed to find a pair of pants that we could have hemmed to the right length for his height. We got 2 pairs and I would highly recommend these pants. They are very high quality and a great fit. We will definitely be buying more when he outgrows these. November 25, 2012
great fit Pants looks great and I love that we could get the pants hemmed to desired length which is a rarity in the boys' clothes. August 4, 2012
The best choice for uniform or dress slacks! Love these uniform pants and will continue to purchase Lands' End for all our boys' clothing. They last forever. The blended cotton and polyester fabric is durable and attractive. I LOVE that I can order the appropriate length of hem for my tall, skinny son. Thank you Lands' End! April 2, 2012
So Far So Good What I love about these pants are two things....First, I like the fact that it is the "classic" navy color, which is hard to find these days. Second, for my son in particular, his waist size hasn't changed much over the year (especially given the adjustable waist band), but he has grown in height....so I LOVE the fact that you can specify the length you need (for no extra cost). Basically he can stay the same size, but just have longer length! As a side point...I will say, though, that the waist on these pants does tend to run big, but like I said, with the adjustable waistband that's not a problem. I know that other reviews complained about the material wearing thin or ripping in the knees....but my son hasn't been wearing them long enough to comment about it. I'm hoping they will last :) June 23, 2012
Too small, fabric ok I was very disappointed as I had bought 16 Husky Corduroy pants and they fit well. Now 6 months later I got 18 Husky and they were SMALLER than the 16 Husky. I bought them for my son to wear for his sister's graduation but they were too small, and he had to wear the 16 corduroy which were great for winter, but a little warm for May. I will have to return; I do NOT know why the sizes are not consistent. June 9, 2012
Disappointed I was very excited to have bought my first Lands End pair of pant's. However upon arrival, they were very wrinkled. I also found the fabric to be very grainy. January 21, 2012
Great pants Great pants, good quality. These are the only dress pants I buy for my sons. January 7, 2012
Bad Choice for a Uniform Pant. It saddens me to do this, but I have to say that, for the first time, I'm very disappointed something from Land's End. I purchased 3 pairs of these chinos for my son in late September to wear as part of his uniform to school. He preferred these to the ones from the uniform company because they were softer and fit better. He only wore them during the school day. Unfortunately, all three pairs are currently so worn and damaged that they are no longer wearable, while the uniform company pants continue to look great. They need to be better designed. The knee protection is centered on the leg of the pant--not where my son's knees are. With no protection at the knees they quickly worn through. All pairs also showed wear at the back seam and one developed a large hole in the seat. I would be willing to give up some of the softness in favor of durability. These would be a fine choice for an occasional dress pant, but they are a terrible uniform pant. November 17, 2011
Iron Knee Still Doesn't Hold Up The new iron knee pants are not as durable as the former version with reinforced knee. The 3 pairs I bought my 6 year old for the start of school in September are all worn through in the knees. I had really hoped they would last longer. He only wears them during the school day. Also, the color is off, it isn't a true navy, it is more grey or faded out. My son didn't want to wear them because he thought the color wasn't right. I think these pants need to be redesigned. Good wearing, good value My little guy goes through the knees of his pants after only a couple of wearings. So I was skeptical that these would be any different from all the other uniform pants we've tried. I glad to say that I was wrong. These pants fit well, and have held up much longer than anything else I've bought, and so far show no signs of wearing out at the knees. Worth the extra $$$ over cheaper uniform pants - we'll be ordering more! November 12, 2011
