Weak Knees - Rips/Fades at Knees
I am so dismayed about this product. Since August, I have purchased/returned almost 8 pairs of these trousers in NAVY for my son's school uniform. My son, who is 11, attends a school that does NOT have any play apparatus and is a pretty typical private school. However, he comes home with ripped fabric OVER the Iron Knee patch after wearing this for a few days, during which the knee area has faded considerably. Also, the trousers that we had purchased earlier had rips under and over the Iron patch only after wearing into the second week, and that was TWO TIMES since he had worn shorts all days except for the mandatory Friday trouser day in the Fall. It seems that the fabric used for these trousers are very weak. I have experience with the khaki trousers not becoming as faded, but the NAVY trousers just FADE and RIP. Poor quality. I have lost my faith in this selection of trousers for school uniforms. This quality would more likely be found at the local Wal-Mart and not Lands End store. I think I would rather purchase the more expensive scratchy version from Dennis Uniforms, which seems more durable.
